NEBOSH International General Certificate
The course takes around 120 hours to complete and is assessed by two written exams plus a work
based practical assessment (see below for more information).
Exams are available in: Calcutta, Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi

Flexible option - allows you 18 months to complete your course and you can change exam dates

Course Content
The NEBOSH International General Certificate is made up of three units:
Unit IGC1: Management of International Health and Safety
Foundations in Health and Safety
Health and Safety Management Systems 1 - Policy
Health and Safety Management Systems 2 - Organising
Health and Safety Management Systems 3 - Planning
Health and Safety Management Systems 4 - Measuring, Audit and Review
Unit GC2: Control of International Workplace Hazards
Workplace Hazards and Risk Control
Transport Hazards and Risk Control
Musculoskeletal Hazards and Risk Control
Work Equipment Hazards and Risk Control
Electrical Safety
Fire Safety
Chemical and Biological Health Hazards and Risk Control
Physical and Psychological Health Hazards and Risk Control
Unit GC3: Health and Safety Practical Application
Assessed by a 2-hour work based practical assessment.
Assessment
Units IGC1 and GC2 of the NEBOSH International Certificate are each
assessed by two-hour written examinations. Unit GC3 is assessed by a
two-hour practical assessment carried out in your workplace.
Exams held March, June, September and December each year
Exams are available in India in Calcutta, Chennai, Mumbai and New
Delhi

Booking & paying for your course

Online: You can get immediate access to your course
by booking and paying online using a debit or credit
card currently we can only charge this in GBP (UK
sterling).
Bank Transfer: Complete the booking form and then
instruct your bank to send the funds to RRC. These can
be transferred in Rupees but you must make sure
bank charges are paid. You will have access to your
course as soon as we verify the funds have been
received.
