FLOOR SCRUBBING PROCEDURE

1. PURPOSE :
To provide a set of guidelines for facility custodials for Floor scrubbing at QFP Mold, Trim & Form, Symbol,
Burn-in, Test and Public areas to remove stubborn stains & dirt.

2. SCOPE

:
This document specifies the activities, methods and materials in performing floor scrubbing at the specified
area and frequency.

3. SAFETY

:
All personnel performing housekeeping maintenance shall follow the guidelines of the Chemical and Safety Specifications.

> Wet the floor using rayon mop with water

and Novasan solution.

Wall bump

- use Raw Water with Novasan solution

using 1:16 dilution ratio
- Dillution will be done at the Janitors room
using the proper PPE

Eye injury

> Plug the floor polisher using GFCI

> Scrub the floor using the polisher with
scrubbing pad.
- Scrub untill stubborn dirt loosens
> Plug the wet vacuum cleaner with GFCI
and vacuum thoroughly the stated
area covered
- Collected solution will be stored in tin cans
for proper disposal.
> Rinse the floor using Rayon Mop and Clean
Raw water (Flood the area enough to
remove the Dirt and Solution
- use separate Mop set for rinsing
- repeat the process 2 to 3 times untill the
solution is removed.
- Collected solution will stored in tin cans
for proper disposal.
> Plug the wet vacuum cleaner with GFCI
and vacuum thoroughly the stated
area covered
- repeat the process 2 to 3 times untill the
solution (Novasan) is completely removed.
- Collected solution will stored in tin cans
for proper disposal.
> Use magic mop to dry the floor
> Clear the area
-Clean the wash bucket and other tools
used and store it properly in the staging
area.
