7. Artists Pension Scheme and Welfare Fund

Assistance from the Government may be in the form of monthly allowance, latter

8. Performing Arts Grants Scheme
8.1 Production Grant:A maximum of Rs. 5 lakh per year shall be given to the Organization/Individual
depending upon the project.
8.2 Repertory Grant:

Salary grant will be given to a maximum number of 25 artists and one guru.
Artists: Rs. 6000/- per month.
One Guru/Director: Rs. 10000/- per month.

9. Scholarships to Young Artistes in Different Cultural Fields

Total Number of Scholarships= 400


The duration of scholarship will be 2 years.
Each scholar will be paid (Rs. 5000/- pm for a period of 2 years) Rs.1,20,000 for 2
years

10.Senior/ Junior Fellowships

The number of fellowships =up to 400 each year.


Senior fellowships will be 200.
Rs.20,000/- each per month.
Age= above 40 years

Junior fellowships will be 200.

Rs.10,000/- each per month for the artistes.

Age= 25-40 years

11.The Cultural Heritage of Himalayas

13.Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme (CFPGS)

Minister of Culture.

14.Tagore Cultural Complexes

Up to a maximum of Rs. 15 core.


In extremely rare cases, of outstanding merit and relevance, the financial assistance

approval of HCM.)
19.Promoting International Cultural Relations
19.1 For Artists And Cultural Professionals Going Abroad For Seminars, Festivals
And Exhibitions On Cultural Subject

Made only on economy class air ticket subject to a ceiling of Rs. 75,000/- or actual air
fare whichever is less subject to all other criteria being fulfilled.

19.2 For Foreign Artists & Cultural Professionals To Study And/or Learn Indian
Culture (Intangible Cultural Heritage)

Towards the travel cost= max. am. of Rs 75,000/- for a maximum of 2 years.
For meeting the expenditure of the course fee= a max. Ceiling of Rs 20,000/- per
month.
In case, the artist/individual is not living with the Guru/Institution= a max. Of Rs.
6000/- for Metropolitan cities and Rs. 4000/- for other cities.
On successful completion of the course/ training and issue of a certificate= a max. Of
Rs 75000/-, (it includes both side air fare).

19.3 For Participation In International & Domestic Book Fairs & International
Events
Maximum of Rs.10 lakhs per event.

20.For Capacity Building and Training of Museum Professionals

A maximum of Rs. 30 lakhs per museum in case of Central/State Government


Museums.
Museums registered as Societies, Voluntary Institutions or Trusts, a maximum of Rs.
20 lakhs per museum.
Financial Grant for the purpose of capacity building and training of museum
professionals will be given to a museum once in 3 years.
