practice in Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital with four partner from my institute. This is my first shift in Melati 3 Ward. I arrive in Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital at 7 oclock. We get hand over at 7:30 a.m, in my ward there are 28 patients. Finishing hand over, we are gotten orientation of ward by our CI. We are divided in 3 team. I belong in team one with Nurse Mrs. Setiti and Mr. Bayu and we have 15 patients. Firstly, I start preparing the bed sheet for bed making to the patients. After that, Ill check vital sign to 15 patients. At 09:30 a.m, the nurse and I prepare the medicines and set of wound dressing to the patients. Then, we start to inject the medicines to the patients and wound dressing. That time, I am given the chance by Mr. Bayu as nurse association to do wound dressing for patient X who gets post op break a left leg bone after fell from his bicycle. While i am doing dressing wound, Ns. Bayu looks how I work and teach me. The patient wound is clean and there is no an infection. I also do wound dressing for 2 patients other who get diabetes melitus and post op appendiktomy. I get to inject the medicines for 15 patients, one of them is Mrs. J who gets susp. Ca Recti. I inject 1 gr of cefotaxime, 25 mg of Ranitidine, and 30 mg of ketorolac by intravenous it all. Ive finished to do it. I help the nurse to draw graph for all patients vital sign. Insensibly, the time is showing 12 p.m oclock. Mrs. Setiti allows us to take a rest for eating and praying. After a while, my friends and i go to mosque to dzuhur praying. We have been hungry, so we walk to canteen immadiately, it is next to mosque. We spend 30 minutes to take a rest. As soon as possible we back to our ward. A short time later, Ns. Lia ask me to accompanied her to pick up a patients in operating room. And then, we walk to operating room. A minute later after i reach ward, family of patient come to me and she said that the infus fluid is used up. So, ill change the infus fluid which is used up by the same brand new. At 01:40 p.m, there is a new patient, then i check his vital signs. I have his vital sign, TD : 120/80 mmHg, Heart beat : 74x/minute, RR : 20x/minute. He has hemorrhoids and he is going to operate tomorrow. The time is showing 02:00 p.m, it means that we would do hand over to next shift. The nurses who get next shift have arrived in the ward and we start to hand over. The hand over finishs at 02:15 p.m and Mrs. Setiti allows us to back home.
