Executive Summary
The NAC Mobile Application is the name of the mobile application which is to be
developed. The Nepal Airlines Corporation has been asking many companies to make a
Mobile application and among those companies our company Infotronics Pvt Ltd has also
been short listed for the development of the application. As being one of the leading company
of the country we have decided to present a proposal to the Nepal airlines about the required
mobile application.
In this project we have been writing a business proposal for the required application. The
proposal was started by giving the introduction of our company and a description of the
product for which the proposal has been made including all the required features. The
proposal has been written focusing on the limitation of the company to make sure that the
requirements are fulfilled. The main goal of this mobile application is to overcome the
problems that the corporation has been facing.
Using charts and graphs comparisons has been done with other airline corporations. The
proposal includes all information about the application including the cost that is needed for
the development of the application. A request has also been made requesting for additional
information and requirements of the mobile application. Deadline for the development of the
mobile application has also been mentioned in the proposal.

1. Individual
As, a student of BIT I should be able to work in a group and should be able to cooperate with
the members of my team. When our group was created it was totally new for me to work
together with my team members. I was afraid whether I will be able to cooperate with the
team or not. When I got the requirement document of the project of Technical
Communication, I was confused what to do because this was the first time I was writing a
business proposal. Meetings were held to discuss about how to write the proposal with my
team. In the first meeting we discussed what to do and we divided the work among the team
members. After dividing the work we started to do our task. While doing the task I faced a lot
of problems. My task was of researching about NAC. I researched all the details through the
internet. But there was lack of information in the official website of NAC. I went to my
teacher Mr. Avijit Thapa and consulted with him about the problems and helpful answers
were given by him which made it easier to overcome the problems. I got the all information
that was essential for me. After the collection of the information we again held a meeting so
that we can know how much work had been done or completed. As my other team member
had completed their tasks, we started the documentation. I had a problem in maintaining my
language as I was weak in grammar but my team member helped me in improving my
mistakes.
Finally when I submitted the task, members of my team had also completed their tasks. I was
as finally happy as the project was complete.

As we have been given a project to present a proposal of Mobile application to the Nepal
airlines corporation titles as My NAC mobile application. I have gathered some experience
regarding this Project.
The project type was different from which we usually have done. The proposal was little
challenging for me because I have never had practice to make a Proposal. Searching all about
business proposals in the Internet I found many examples of Proposals of many companies.
It was becoming a trouble for me to complete the part of my project. But as we know
Where there is Will there is Way I researched in many places and took help of many
friends and team members to overcome the problem.
My team member is an active machine which was working with their full potential, who give
their best in their works. Working with them was fun and full of experience. The team
coordination was going good and we were able to complete the project on time. Not only the
help which I got from the Team member but also the inspiration and working Methodology
was taught to me by my team colleagues.
My team member is not only the ones who helped me for the project. My teacher Mr. Avijit
Thapa also helped me in explaining all the topics under this project. He showed me the way
from where to get the information and how to write on every individual topic under this
project. I was thankful to my teacher and my team members for giving me an opportunity that
carried a good experience working in group and completing the Proposal which was never
been done by me before.

As per the project handed to us by LBEF, which is affiliated to Asia Pacific University (APU)
we faced many challenges along the way. Since the topic itself was new to us, it required a lot

of research and thorough study about the topic before proceeding on to the actual work. My
special gratitude goes to Mr. Avijit Thapa, our instructor who helped us along the way.
Without the help of our teachers and cooperation of friends I would have still been in the
dark.
The project, to prepare a business proposal for Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) required us
to research not only on that particular airlines but also other airlines that were currently
functioning within the country. This helped to create a mind set for what we were studying,
and also to understand the purpose of the task. During this wonderful experience, I learned
how an actual proposal was made in the corporate industry. Similarly, I also learned how a
project is done efficiently by cooperating with friends and colleagues.
The sessional project helped me gain a good understanding about Technical Communication
and I intend to carry this knowledge with me for a lifetime.

1. Introduction
1.1 Introduction to Organization:
Infotronics Pvt Ltd is an IT company established in 2000. It is located in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The Company has many branches in different cities of Nepal like Pokhara, Dharan, etc. The
company has been providing service in field of computing technology from the time of its
establishment. Different kind of desktop application, web based application and mobile
application for both IOS and android has been developed by the company according to the
need of clients. The members of the company also work as consultant in field of IT for
different renounced organizations in Nepal. The company also provides different kinds of
training for different kind of people and internship for students.
1.2. Introduction to My NAC Mobile App
The user wants changes in old system as well. People want everything in their smart phones
so, they can connect from anywhere, any time.
My NAC Mobile Application is a web based mobile application which will be developed
using java programing in android studio IDE and MS SQL will work as backend data store or
database. This app will be able to make online seat reservation and make payments. It will
make user update about different services and facilities provided by NAC. It will notify user
about the departure time.
1.3. Objectives of My NAC Mobile Application

To be connected with the client.

To make friendly environment for the user.
To make easier to the client to book the ticket and make payment.
To provide Real-time service to the client.

2. Statement of Circumstances
Infotronics Pvt. Ltd. is happy with the positive response by the NAC. Mobile app
development is a serious business in which we should be patience to create something that
will work for you and is free of bugs and other issues as it take lots of time. New update will
be required, but its important to start with a sound foundation.
Nepal Airlines Corporation is a leading company of the Nepal. In these coming years the
competition has increased so there are many chance to lose the customer.
After this proposal accepted we are here to help you in those challenges by creating a Mobile
app that will help you in your customer care service. Once we are approved for this proposal
than we will start your work to create a friendly app that will take a time of 3 month to fully
develop the application along with being in touch with NAC. If there is any additional things
which need to convey to us about the application than you can contact us through the Email
or by having a meeting in a specific place where we can have a talk about the changes and
information regarding the application. We will be pleased to hear from you at any office time.

3. Services Offered
We believe in providing quality products and good service to our client. Quality products
means the products which can meet the requirement of clients and will be secured so no any
data will be miss used other and will be easily available to users. We develop the desktop
based, web based and mobile application for our client as their needs.
We have got the best team for development of application either that will be desktop based,
web based or mobile apps. The mobile application which we develop will be uploaded in
online stores like (Google App store for android, App store for IOS). User can easily
download those apps on their mobile.
As everything will not be perfect so our goal is not only developing the application but
making the application best by updating the application according to the feedback of clients.
So we also provide the maintenance service to our client. If there is any problem during the
use of application and company notifies us then our company we send maintenance team
member within five hours of notify and they will check the problems and take required action
to solve the problem.

The whole application will be finished in the 80 days of the time which means exact 3month
of working hours 7. After the 3 months of the time will be able to submit the application on
your place. In first month we will t we will analyze the working process of the NAC and then
we will design the interface. In second month we will code or we will program the
application. After whole code is written we will test whether it is secured and error free or
not. After finalizing it is error free and secure in third month we will implement it.
Maintenance is future process.

6. Information about the limitation

My NAC application is made under todays technology and seeing the current generation.
After the change and coming of new technology the new features can be added and more user
friendly application can be made. Right now on the present state of the app we have got some
limitation on the app.

The application should be on Online to be operated.

As it is a mobile application there is a strong safeguard and password lock protection.
This application cannot be operated in the oldest android version.

7. Pricing of Application
Cost in development of Application will be charged according the requirement of the client
whether cost will be high or low. Cost should paid in installment basis and the every new
update will charged extra than the of Application fee.

In above table there are two columns one of task and another of amount of the particular task.
At first there is Companys Fee. Companies contain all the miscellions fess like stationary
fee. Analyzing Fee is quite high then of other fee because analyzing is the most important
part of the project. Our system analyst should frequently visit your office to know about your
business process and your structure. So, we can develop app which can give better
performance. As analyst required different resources for analyzing it cost a quite high. In

designing part we will design the GUI of the app which should be attractive as well as easy to
use. So, the users can get easily attract. So it take a long time and as well as the cost of
designer $2000. Coding is just implementing the syntax for the designed interface. It is just
programing the code. So it just cost $1500 as cost of the programmer $1500. Testing is the
checking weather written is error free or not and whether it is secured or not. So, tester should
work harder than programmer as he should not leave any single syntax and also should test
weather developed app is secured or not. So, he paid more than programmer so it cost $2000.
In implementation part we will upload the developed application to different online store like
Google Play Store. As we should buy an account for it we should pay for it and another one is
we also should have SQL server for our database to run and we should buy the genuine SQL
Server. So, it cost $2000. Maintenance is future aspect. After the implementation of
application we will get different feedback so we should try to update some of the features in
our application so this charge is kept as $2000.

9. Conclusion
As we only not focus on developing application we focus on secure and error free application. As this
application will be secured this will keep the privacy of users as well as of NAC. This app will help in
development of NAC by attracting more user.
