1997 & prior years, $1,750,000 excess of $250,000 was treated as Excess. These Rates are in lieu of previous HES Allocations.
*** B&R WC, GL, and AL rates include claims to $1 million.
*** All U.S. Worker's Comp., General and Auto Liability, and General / Excess Insurance Rates are based
on a percent of Regular Earnings (Straight Time Portion of all Hours Worked); Non U.S. Rates are based on a percent
of Gross Earnings, including Premium Earnings. Worker's Comp Rates no longer include Business Unit Safety cost;
Business Unit Deployed Safety is now a Direct Charge.
**** General / Excess Insurance includes Top Excess, Property, Multi-Marine, Blanket Cargo, Fidelity, Fudiciary, and other general
insurance costs not directly charged (not included are items which are direct billed: e.g. Vessels, Contractors
Equipment, Builders Risk, Well Program etc.)
Included in this charge is Global and Regional Insurance, Claims and Litigation Overhead, and All HSE Overhead costs
except for employees deployed to or recovered from projects and business units. This General Insurance charge
is in lieu of previous HES Allocations for this type of cost.
Worker's Comp, General and Auto Liability Rates include allocations for recovery of HALCO21 HSE / IM System Development Costs.
HES Worker's Comp, General and Auto Liability Rates include a provision to offset the current IBNR deficit; the provision is
designed to eliminate the shortfall in two to three years.
Where a PSL, Company Code or an Entity Code is defined, the charge is applicable to all account codes that roll up to that PSL,
Company or Entity.
