Child Care and Learning Development
(Opportunity available in Durham)
A programme led apprenticeship is available through
Springboard, with two places in Gilesgate.
The apprentice will work in a Child Care placement from
Monday to Friday each week, with training delivered in
the workplace towards NVQ level 2, and possibly also
level 3.
EMA is payable, for those who qualify, and travel
expenses refunded. A CRB check is essential, and the
cost of this will be met by Springboard. It is hoped that
the placement will commence as soon as possible after
the CRB is completed, but this may not be until
September.
Entry requirements: GCSEs would be beneficial due to
aspects of the work, but at least Level 1 equivalent in
maths and English.
