on retelling stories using sequencing words and putting it in their own
words.
Math Students have begun Chapter 4, Strategies in Subtraction. We are
looking at several different ways to look at solving subtraction problems 020, starting with practicing counting backwards from different numbers.
We are also working on improving our math fluency by doing Mad Minutes
each week, with the goal of completing 30 addition problems in 1 minute).
Science- Chapter 5 is all about space. Students have brainstormed
previous knowledge about space and learned characteristics of the sun.
Writing- Students are now working on descriptive writing. They are
working on identifying adjectives and created their own shoe to describe.
