Learning Log #3

1. The problems I had when reading these texts is that in the first article the author only
used pathos in his arguments and didnt give enough detail to even strike a nerve in my
body. The next article, the one about fish, had the details but included too many
scientific words for me to follow along. I ended up rereading twice to understand the
main points and extra details. The last article, the one about the apes, was the easiest to
understand.
2. Some strategies I used to read these articles was a dictionary and rereading the articles
twice or three more times.
3. I believe these strategies will work with other articles because you dont just understand
one article after reading it once. It takes focus and rereading it twice or three times.
