SCOPE OF WORK
The detailed scope of works is as given below:SOR Item No. A.1:- The scope of work includes the following:i)
Supply and replacement of all gaskets of 2500KVA, 33/6.9KV,ALSTOM make
Transformers (TR-20 & 21), preparation of gaskets from gasket sheets of RC 70
Grade.
ii)
Dismantling, shifting of various parts of transformer for gasket replacement.
iii)
Supply and replacement of HV,LV, Neutral Bushing Oil seals.
iv)
Supply and replacement of gaskets of HV,LV Terminal boxes, marshalling boxes,
including replacement of glass/ acrylic cover of marshalling boxes.
v)
Supply and replacement of explosion vent diaphragms, Air Release vents, Teflon
washers.
vi)
Overhauling of OLTC (On-Load Tap changer, Crompton Greaves make, Type
F317/33/100, 33KV,30Amps). The job includes draining out full quantity of oil
(Approx 733Ltrs) in spare drums, opening of inspection covers, inspection of
moving and fixed contacts, removal of carbon particles, cleaning and inspection of
transition resistance, checking of alignment by operating all taps, checking
tightness of connections.
vii)
Refitting of all components and accessories.
viii) The job includes supply of Filtration machine with all accessories, Labor and
materials etc for carrying out filtration of oil till BDV of 60KV is achieved after
completion of the above jobs.
ix)
The job includes supply and mobilization of Hydra / Tripod suitable for lifting
Top cover and other accessories as per site requirement as well as supply of
Empty Oil drums of sufficient capacity for draining transformer oil during the
overhauling and gasket replacement work.
x)
After overhauling work and box up, following tests are to be conducted on
Transformer:- a) Measurement of IR Value. b) Ratio Test and c) Magnetic balance
test.
SOR Item No. A.2 :- The scope of work includes the following:i)
Painting of Complete Transformer Body, bottom rails and NGR panel with 02
coats of primer and 02 coats of Epoxy Paint with the help of Spray painting
machine.
ii)
The job includes degreasing, de-rusting and thorough cleaning of all the external
surfaces of tank, fittings. Cleaning should be done either by hand brush/ power
brush/buffing, emery paper or combination of all the above to remove all rust/
loose paint/peeled-off paint, grease, oil etc as per standard procedures and
directions of Engineer-In-charge(EIC).
iii)
It includes supply of all Materials- Paints( BERGER / ASIAN make) , Thinner,
Spray painting machine and Labor etc to complete the job in all respects. Shade of
the Paint shall be Smoke Gray 631 as per IS:5.
SOR Item No. B.1 :- The scope of work includes the following:i)
Supply and replacement of all gaskets of 800KVA, 6.6/0.433 KV,VOLTAMP
make Transformers (TR-22 & 23), preparation of gaskets from gasket sheets of
RC 70 Grade.
ii)
Dismantling, shifting of various parts of transformer for gasket replacement.
iii)
Supply and replacement of Oil Seals and Gaskets of HV, LV and Neutral
Bushings.

Dismantling of portion of Bus ducts for lifting top cover, core etc for replacement
of gaskets, Bushing oil seals etc.
Supply and replacement of gaskets of HV,LV Terminal boxes, marshalling boxes
including replacement of glass/ acrylic cover of marshalling boxes.
Supply and replacement of explosion vent diaphragms, Air vents.
Refitting of all components and accessories.

SOR Item No. B.2 :- The scope of work includes the following:i)
Inspection of Bus Ducts of Transformers (TR-22 & 23) from Transformer LT side
to PMC-301 panel after removal of inspection covers, tightening of connections,
inspection of insulators and cleaning of inside chamber, removal of dust, solid
waste particles, varnishing, measurement of IR values and box up.
ii)
The job includes supply of all labor, tools tackles and supply and erection of
proper MS Scaffolding arrangement for completing the Bus duct inspection work.
SOR Item No. B.3 :- The scope of work includes the following:i)

iii)
Supply and replacement of Oil Seals and Gaskets of HV and LV Bushings.
iv)
Lifting of top cover, core etc for replacement of gaskets, Bushing oil seals etc.
v)
Supply and replacement of gaskets of HV,LV Terminal boxes, marshalling boxes,
including replacement of glass/ acrylic cover of marshalling boxes.
vi)
Supply and replacement of explosion vent diaphragms, Air vents.
vii)
Refitting of all components and accessories.
