SEER Light Hookup Installation Instructions

The following instructions were updated to include the 64-bit operating systems
supported by MARS V8 SP4. They supersede the installation instructions in chapter 2
of the SEER Light Ambulatory Recorder/Controller Operators Manual.
1.
Insert the SEER Light Hookup software CD in the CD drive of your workstation.
The Choose Setup Language window opens.

Click Next.
The License Agreement window opens.

Select the disk to which the SEER Light Hookup software will be installed and
click Next.
The Ready to Install window opens.

Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now field and click Finish.
The Holter workstation will restart.

Plug one end of a USB cable into the workstation and connect the other end to
the SEER Light Connect.
What happens next depends on the workstations operating system.
Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit or 64-bit) or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (64-bit)
Nothing happens. Device drivers were installed with the SEER Light Hookup
software. Skip to step 12.
Windows Server 2008 SP2 (32-bit)
The message Found new hardware is displayed. Skip to step 10.
Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) or Windows XP SP3 (32-bit)
The Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard opens. Skip to step 11.

If the workstation is running Windows Server 2008 SP2 (32-bit), use the following
procedure to install the SEER Light Hookup drivers.

When the Found new hardware message is displayed, select Locate and
install driver software (recommended).

On the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard, select No, not this
time, and click Next.

The Files Needed dialog box opens to prompt you for the location of the
file WinRTUSB.dll.
