The purpose of the Evaluation is to evaluate: the research processes you have used, the decisions you have made in response to challenges/opportunities
specific to your research, and the quality of your Outcome (findings).
The Evaluation word limit is 1650 words (150 word Summary + 1500 word Evaluation). Graphics/tables, Reference List, Bibliography and footnotes are not
included towards word limit.
The evaluation should be written in the past tense, unless discussing future research. Use of first person (I, my), and use key terms such as: validity,
reliability, credibility, usefulness, qualitative, quantitative etc. A variety of sophisticated evaluative language is encouraged.
NOTE: Research primary and secondary research may be evaluated in any order, and you are encouraged to evaluate according to the journey of your
research; this scaffold provides a generic suggestion ONLY.
