2017 MALAYSIA OPEN KOSHIKI CHAMPIONSHIP

With reference to the above matter, we are indeed very glad to inform you that Perak Koshiki Karate-do
Association will be organizing 2017 Malaysia Open Koshiki Championship. The open championship
will be held on 14/10/2017 & 15/10/2017 at the venue in Vivo Square @ Gunung Lang, Jalan Kuala
Kangsar, Ipoh, Perak.

The main purpose of holding such great events is to gather all the martial arts practitioners from
the various styles and different background of martial arts to co-operate and fostering the good budo
relationship, understanding, by sharing and exchanging knowledge to achieve the SAME purpose and aim
to improve and developing the BUDO together.

This Open Championship is also open to international participants where we hope to strive for the
more advancing and highly developing towards international recognition the new budo sport another
option or new format of karate sport Full Contact Safety Karate which is getting popular and well known
globally.

We indeed very grateful and thanks to all the budoka that giving their utmost support in our past
and previous championships since it was first introduced and opened to the public and various martial arts
and different martial art background in the year 2008 and continually till in the years 2010, 2012, 2013,
2014 and 2015. As the host or main Organizer, we highly respecting them that they are brave and daring
enough to take the new challenge to explore and competing in our open championships although the sport
is entirely different from theirs. Honestly the sport of KOSHIKI is the simplest, practical and a very straight
forward contact combat sport. What we have been trained and practiced in our daily training and practicing
can be fully used, applied and emphasized in KOSHIKI shiai with peace of mind without serious injury as

our bogu (special invented and designed for this sport - as its special body protector can absorb 70%
strong impact and the special head guard fully face cover without any disfigurement on our face at all).
Koshiki competition also a real testing ground for all the budoka to meet and compete most fairly, freely and
definitely most safely although it is a full contact system.

We are looking forward for your continually support (if you have given your past support) and we
always welcome everyone from all styles and different martial arts to our truly open martial arts

participating association too to develop and excellence its sport as well.
