New stress types for base material assessments

2D stress tensor on surface
Different stress quantities available
Solid elements can be assessed with all available codes
Higher accuracy for multiaxial and non-proportional loading

Welds Under Non-Proportional Loads

Improved fatigue assessment for welds under non-proportional loads
Out of phase loading of e.g. bending and shear stresses,
is not covered by standard interaction formulas
of design codes.
For Eurocode 3 and the FKM guideline the
recommendations of IIW were implemented and
can be activated in the JobManager of LIMIT CAE
under Multiaxial-Nonprop-IIW.
This correction is inactive in base material
assessments.
