    CREW seeks records related to Attorney General Pam Bondi’s travel in mid-September 2013, including but not limited to her travel to New York to appear on “Fox and Friends” on September 17, 2013, the same day a political committee associated with her received a $25,000 contribution from the Donald J. Trump Foundation. Our interests are rooted in how in September 2013, Attorney General Bondi’s office had before it more than 20 complaints against Trump University and related entities. Sometime in late August though, Attorney General Bondi personally solicited a campaign contribution from Mr. Trump. On September 13, 2013, the Orlando Sentinel reported that Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office was “reviewing the New York lawsuit’s allegations, to determine whether Florida should join the multi-state case.” Four days later, on September 17, the Trump Foundation made a $25,000 contribution to And Justice for All, a political committee associated with Attorney General Bondi.

Specifically, CREW seeks: 1) Attorney General Bondi’s daily schedule for September 12, 2013 through September 19, 2013, The Office of the Attorney General has provided her “official schedule” in response to Public Records Act requests in the past, and it is (or was, as of July 2012) distributed to reporters daily." 2) All records, including but not limited to communications, relating to Atlorney General Bondi’s travel between September 12, 2013 and September 19, 2013. 3) All records, including but not limited to communications, relating to Attorney General Bondi’s travel to New York to appear on “Fox and Friends” on September 17, 2013. 4) All communications between September 12, 2013 and September 19, 2013 between Office of the Attorney General officials, including but not limited to Attorney General Bondi, and any employee or representative of the Trump Organization, the ‘Trump Foundation, or any entity owned or operated by Mr. Trump, including but not limited to Mr. Trump. Trump, and others engaged in fraudulent, illegal, and deceptive conduct? Sometime in late August or early September, Attorney General Bondi personally solicited a campaign contribution from Mr. Trump.> On September 13, 2013, the Orlando Sentinel reported that Attomey General Pam Bondi’s office was “reviewing the New York lawsuit’s allegations, to determine whether Florida should join the multi-state case.” Four days later, on September 17, the Trump Foundation made a $25,000 contribution to And Justice for All, a political committee associated with Attorney General Bondi, according to Florida campaign finance disclosures filed by the group.* On the same day, September 17, 2013, Attorney General Pam Bondi also appeared in person on “Fox and Friends,” a television program that is broadcast from the Fox News studios at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY.” If the Office of the Attorney General is not the custodian of the requested records, please forward the request to the appropriate department, office, or entity in possession or custody of the records. Please search for responsive records regardless of physical form or characteristics. We seek records of any kind, including electronic records. Fla. Stat. § 119.011(12). If itis your position that any portion of the requested records is exempt from disclosure, Chapter 119 requires you to state the basis of the exemption you contend is applicable. Fla. Stat, § 119.07(1)(¢). CREW further requests you state in writing and with particularity the reasons for any conclusion that a record is exempt ot confidential. Fla. Stat. § 119.07(1)(f).
