Data Gathering

Excel Integration

Streamline the data gathering process using

a web-based portal. Portfolio company
personnel, such as CFOs, are able to
securely submit data using approved
templates. Data can also be submitted from
Excel using the FrontPM Excel plug-in.

FrontPM is integrated with Excel, allowing

users to continue to use their tool of
choice while enabling the use of a central
database of portfolio company information
and valuations. This improves consistency
and auditability while simplifying multiperiod analysis. Excel spreadsheets can
be sent to the FrontPM repository to aid in
tracking and auditing the history of a figure.

Central Database
The back-end database stores portfolio
company financial figures, custom
measures, files, comments and other
related historical information for users to
access consistently and with confidence.
Analysts, investor relations staff and others
no longer need to guess where the most
current figures reside.

Calculation Engine
Leverage the systems centralized
calculation engine to handle standard or
custom calculations and use those figures
in a spreadsheet for additional analysis.
This avoids overburdening and slowing
down Excel while also making the figures in
a custom model or analysis fully traceable
and auditable.

FrontGP (previously called AnalytX PEO), or
to any other system.
With portfolio management capabilities,
firms can track a funds investment
performance in a portfolio company, using
detailed financials to generate mostly
standard reports.

analyses generated by FrontPM in a Front

processes, supported by the FrontPM
