1. Fixing the timing of event is the most difficult and important part of prediction.To get the basic idea in this regard, an example of timing has been discussed in this article.

3. Marriage is promised as 7 cuspal sublord (CSL) Moon signifies 7,11 in the following manner:
1) 7 CSL is Mo and no planet is in the star of Mo. So Mo is the strong significator of 7; (Kuppu Ganapathi,
Vaikari Ramamurthy, Kanak Bosmia and others)
2) Mo is in 6 l/o1; in the star of Ve in 1 l/o 4,11;
3) Mo is in the sub of Ra in 11; aspected by Ju+ in 5 l/o 6,9; signlord Ve in 1 l/o 4,11;
4) Mo is aspected by Sa in 4 l/o 7,8.
4. In judging marriage potential, the possibility of 2nd marriage and child birth also can be checked.The 2nd marriage rules are checked as under:
1) 7 CSL Mo is in the dual sign Sg and it signifies 7,11. First rule is met.
2) 2 CSL Ma is in 1 l/o 5,10; in the star of Me in 2 l/o 3,12; in the sub of Ju in 5 l/o 6,9. Second rule assuming the

Fruitful Significators
7. In selecting the fruitful significators,
1) select the planets, only if both the significator and its sub lord signify the 2,7 and 11 houses, and reject those
planets in the sub signifying only 1,6 and 10 as they are 12th house to the house 2,7 and 11;
2) take the planets which are among the RPs at the time of judgment.

1)Among the significators for 2, only Ve in the sub of Sa signifying 7 is considered as a fruitful significator and all
other Su, Ma, Me, Ke are rejected for the following reasons:
a) Su and Me are in the sub of Ma signifying 1 (12 to 2) and 10 (12 to 11), without signifying 2,7 and 11.;
b) Ma and Ke are in the sub of Ju signifying 6, without signifying 2,7 and 11.
2) Among the significators for 11, Ra is rejected for being in the sub of Ju signifying 6, without signifying 2,7 and

3) Finally the fruitful significators for marriage are Ve, Ju, Sa and Mo.

Fixing DBAS
10. Current running Dasa is Mo (from.03 Sep 2001 to 03 Sep 2011). As discussed above in point 3, Mo signifies
7,11 and is the sub of Ve signifying 11. So Moon Dasa is capable of giving marriage.
11. In Mo Dasa,Ve Bhukti is chosen as shown below:
1) Current running Bhukti is Me (from 04 Jul 2007 to 03 Dec 2008). Me is in 2 l/o 3,12; in the star of Su in 2 l/o
2; in the sub of Ma in 1 l/o 5,10. Me is rejected for being in the sub of Ma signifying 1 (12 to 2) and 10 (12 to 11),
without signifying 2,7 and 11.
2) Next Bhukti is Ke (from 03 Dec 2008 to 03 Jul 2009). Ke+ is in 5 and no planet is in the star of Ke. Ke is conj

3) The following Bhukti is Venus (from 03 Jul 2009 to 03 Mar 2011).Venus in 1 l/o 4,11; in the star of Me in 2 l/o
3,12; in the sub of Sa in 4 l/o 7,8.Ve signifies 2,11 and in the sub of Sa signifying 7.Ve is also among the RPs. So Ve
is selected as a fruitful significator for Bhukti.
12. In Ve Bhukti, the choice of Mo Antara is as explained below:
1) Su is in 2 l/ 2; in own star and sub of Ma in 1 l/o 5,10. It is rejected for being in the sub of Ma signifying 1 (12
to 20 and 10 (12 to 11), without signifying 2,7 and 11.
2) Mo signifies 7, 11 and in the sub of Ve signifying 11. Mo is among the RPs and so chosen as a fruitful significator
for Antara.
13. In Mo Antara, Sa Sookshma is selected as shown under:
1) Ma and Ra are in the sub of Ju signifying 6 (12 to 7), without signifying 2,7 and 11 and so they are rejected;
2) Ju is not among the RPs;
3) Sa is among the RPs. Sa is in 4 l/o 7,8; in the star and sub of Ra in 11.Also taking into consideration of Punarphoo
by aspect of Sa on Mo, Sa is selected as a fruitful Sookshma lord.
14. Thus Mo-Ve-Mo-Sa DBAS (Dec 4 to 13, 2009) is chosen as a possible period for marriage.
Transit
15. Generally an event happens during the joint DBAS period of the significators when transit agrees. Particularly
at the time of event, Sun, Moon and joint period DBAS lords are generally found to be transiting1) mainly in the star or sub of the same joint period DBAS lords;
2)additionally in the star of the significators of the event (other than the joint period DBAS lords) in the horoscope.
16. It is supposed to check not all planets but only chosen DBAS lords whether they are transiting in the star or
sub of the same DBAS lords. Here it is not open-ended to take the signification of transiting DBAS lords which
is not promised in the natal chart for them. And then for accurate timing, it is to choose the transiting Sun and
Moon, which are mostly found in the star or sub of Sookshma lord at the time of event. For slow moving planets,
in addition to stars and subs, the bhavas they are transiting may be also taken into account and needless to say
the subs will decide the signification of transiting planets. . (KP Reader V, 2004, page 163: One should not always
calculate the Ascendant for the place of birth unless the native is permanent in his birth place.)
17. During the chosen Mo-Ve-Mo-Sa DBAS (Dec 4 to 13, 2009), a favorable transit for marriage after 13:07:22

After long time Pakistan, has a Democratic President and Prime Minister. I want to discuss the Swearing- in chart
of President Asif Ali Zardari with some new thoughts and new rules.
Some times we have found that even if Asc sublord of Swearing- in chart indicate Badhaka, Maraka,then too, PM
or President complete their Terms. After finding this anamoly, I started thinking more, to come up with more
accuracy in Mundane KP Astrology. Keeping this issue in mind, for research purposes, I am going to discuss
some New Rules.
Rule:1
Asc. sublord of Swearing-in Chart signifying 2,7,12+ Badhaka, a person will NOT complete his Term. It will happen during, DBA of 2,7,11 + Badhaka significators.
Rule:2
If Ruling Planets at the time of Swearing-in Chart( Asc signlord- Asc starlord, Moon signlord- Moon star lord,
Day lord) tally with the Country charts Ruling Planets and the running (DBA) in Country s Chart , then the
person WILL complete his Term. We also have to examine the charts in reverse way. If Ruling Planets in the
Country Chart( Asc signlord- Asc starlord, Moon signlord- Moon star lord, Day lord) tally with Swearing- in
Charts Ruling Planets and the running(DBA) in Swearing -in Chart, then the person Will complete his Term.

Analysis of Swearing-in Chart of President Zardari.
Asc sublord is Ketu. Ketu is in the star of Mer and sub of Moon. Ketu is in 8(Removal), Ketu is in the sign of Moon,
Moon is in 1 lord of 8(Removal),Mer is in 10 lord of 7( Maraka, Badhaka),10.

We can come to the conclusion that Asc sublord of swearing chart and RP of Swearing-in and Pakistans chart
indicate that Mr.Zardari MAY NOT complete his term as President.
Swearing-in Chart RPs are Jup-Ketu- Mar.
Dasa Bhukti of Pakistan chart: Ven-Ven. Both are not in swearing-in chart, so it is a difficult period for Mr.
Zardari.
Next Sun bhukti is also not in swearing in chart.
Next Moon bhukti also not in swearing-in chart.

Dasasin Swearing- in chart:
Ven dasa: 16/9/2008 To 16/7/2009:Ven is in Pakistan chart, no danger to Mr.Zardari.

Moon: 16/10/2009 To 16/3/2010: Not in Pakistan RP, so it is difficult period for Mr. Zardari.
Mar: 16/3/2010 To 1/7/2010: Not in Pakistan RP, so it is difficult period for Mr. Zardari.
Rahu: 1/7/2010 To 1/4/2011: Rahu is in Pakistan chart, no danger to Mr.Zardari.

Dasa indicate 2 and 6. So change is there.
Let us check Dasa/Bhukti In Swearing chart:
Runing dasa is Ven dasa: 16/9/2008 To 16/7/2009
Ven is in the star of Moon and sub of Mer.
Ven is in 10, lord of 6(9th from 10th)(change in present job 9th is 12th from 10th).-11, Moon is in 1,Lord of 8,

We seen 10 and 11 and also rule 2 not indicate Dange, so I think this dasa is not danger for Mr. zardari.
Next dasa is Sun: 16/7/2009 To 16/10/2009:
Sun is in the star of Ven and sub of Sat.
Su is in 9( 12th from 10th)., Lord of 9( 12th from 10th).,Ven is in 10, lord of 6(9th from 10th)(change in present
job 9th is 12th from 10th).-11, Sat is in 9,Lord of 2( 2nd is 5th from 10th)(5th is 12th from 6th daily activity).3.
In this dasa we can see both 9, 2, 6 and 10-11, and also rule 2 not indicate Dange, so trouble star form this period
but not much danger period for Mr. Zardari.
Next dasa is Moon: 16/10/2009 To 16/3/2010:
Moon is in the star of Ketu and sub of Mer.
Moon is in 1,Lord of 8, Ketu is in 8, Ketu is in the sign of Moon, Mer is in 10, Lord of 7-10.
Rule-2 indicates danger but Moon Dasa does not indicate Danger for Mr. Zardari.
Next Dasa is Mar: 16/3/2010 To 1/7/2010:
Mar is in the star of Moon, and sub of Mer.
Mar is 10, Lord of 5-12, Moon is in 1, Lord of 8, Mer is in 10, Lord of 7-10.
In this dasa we cant see 2,6,9. Even Rule-2 Indicate Danger for Mr. Zardari, so I think this period is difficult, but
not danger.
Next dasa is Rahu: 1/7/2010 To 1/4/2011:
Rahu is in the star of Moon and sub of Sun.
Rah is in 2( 2nd is 5th from 10th)(5th is 12th from 6th daily activity), Rahu is in the Sign of Sat, Sat is in 9,Lord of

This Dasa indicate, Danger, Rule-2 also Indicate Danger so in my opinion Mr.Zardaris presidentship will be lost

I want to drow readers attention to April 2008 KP-Ezine issue , where I had written an article on Pakistan

As per my assessment, new PPP and alliance government will not complete the Term of 5 years

One of my close relative, who is working at Mumbai was communicated about the proposal of his transfer to
Bangalore and was asked to search the house at Bangalore for relocation, as the transfer case was in advanced
stages of approval. Soon, I got the news and I tried to assess from KP, if the native could be transferred from the

Coordinates of judgment:
Essentially, a transfer in the same job to a different city location involves leaving the place of stay and get involved
in the new environment. In pursuance to the above, the 10th house should get linked to 3rd and 12th houses
in order to account for leaving the place of stay and face a new environment.
In order to account for the change of place of stay, 4th cusp should link to the 3rd house.
11th cusp has the final say on the fructification of the query and should get linked with the relevant houses for

The current president of Equatorial Guinea is Retired Brig. Gen.Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.The 1982 constitution
of Equatorial Guinea gives Obiang extensive powers, including naming and dismissing members of the Cabinet, making

Tribunal delivered its sentences, which were more severe than what the prosecution had requested for . Macias
Nguema and six of his co-defendants were sentenced to death and also confiscation of their property. With no
higher court available to hear appeals, the decision of the Special Military Tribunal was final. Macias Nguema and
the six other defendants sentenced to death were executed by a Moroccan firing squad at Black Beach Prison at
6pm on the same day.

When a person involves in an event (of any bhava), the gross quantum of results (either benefic or malefic) that
can be accrued from that action is known as the Fate (Vidhi in Tamil) of the individual in respect of that
bhava. For any event, when the respective Fate of that bhava supports the particular action, the individual can
get very benefic results in most of his life-time.
On the contrary, if the Fate of that bhava doesnt favour the same, the individual has to face malefic results in most
of his life-time. Our fore-fathers have astrologically classified all the individual actions under the twelve bhavas.
According to this classification, each bhava possesses many such significations within itself.
As per the K.B SYSTEM, the starting points of bhavas known as bhava cusps are determining the
Fate of the individuals. Because, these bhava cusps are observed uniquely in order to distinguish the results
significantly for the births occuring even in very small intervals such as a minute, etc. The bhava cusps of twelve
bhavas are considered as Entry Gates for bhavas. Fate is being determined at these Entry Gates of bhavas.
A bhava cusp consists of the Bhava Lord, Star Lord and Sub-Lord. Among these, Star Lord is stronger than Bhava
Lord and Sub-Lord is stronger than Star Lord. In short, Fate of a bhava is being determined mainly by the SubLord of that bhavas cusp.
The Sub-Lord of any bhava is fully empowered to design the Fate, either as benefic or malefic results, in respect
of that bhava by corresponding to other bhava cusps through its Star Lord (Saaram) and Sub-Lord (Bhukthi).
Depending upon the strength of the basement only, we can decide the number of floors in any building. Similarly,
Fate should be stronger enough for any bhava.
Therefore, the actions of the individual are restricted to the extent of results determined by the Fate in respect
of the respective bhava. The above explanation was made with an aim to make the readers understand that the
individuals in their actions can not move an inch beyond the limits determined by the Fate. Let me explain this
with an example.
Let us consider a case wherein the Sub-Lord of 10th bhava, links with 2nd, 6th and 10th bhava cusps through its
Star and Sub-Lord. As you know, the above 2nd, 6th and 10th bhavas are promoting the welfare of 10th bhava.
Therefore, as the Fate of the individual in respect of 10th bhava is good, we can conclude that the individual will
do his profession in good manner in his life-time.
On the contrary when the Sub-Lord of 10th bhava linked with, 1st, 5th and 9th bhava cusps through its Star and
Sub-Lord, the Fate of the 10th bhava is considered very weak and thereby the individual will be forced to break
the profession for a considerable period of his life-time. The reason is that the 1st, 5th and 9th bhavas are happening respectively to be 4th, 8th and 12th from the 10th bhava. This indicates difficulties to the individual in his
profession.
An individual can execute those actions (of bhavas) hopefully for a long time, which (bhavas) are supported by
the powerful Fate in his/her horoscope. Conversely, the individual either feels difficult to execute those actions
(of bhavas) beyond a particular time or faces problems with regard to those bhavas, which are possessing week
Fate in the natal horoscope.
Particularly, the Fate of permanent bhavas viz. 1st, 2nd, 6th, 7th and 10th bhavas should atleast be disposed with
moderate strength. Because, these are the bhavas that are serving as sources of strength for human life. The
chances are very remote to have all the bhavas with considerable strength of Fate. That is why, almost all the persons in the world are facing problems in one respect or another. So far, we have seen the basement of a horoscope
namely Fate. Further, let us proceed to see Dasa-Bhukthi i.e. Will (Mathi in Tamil).
In confering the results, either good or bad, to the individuals for their actions during a particular period, the respective Dasa-Bhukthis (under the name Will) also taking a leading role, like Fate. Dasa-Bhukthis as Will are
calculated based on the deposition of natal Moon. Dasa Lord is identified as the Lord of the Constellation,

wherein the natal Moon deposited. Bhukthi Lord is ascertained by calculating the degree-wise extent of Moons
traverse in that Constellation.
A persons horoscope is nothing but an astronomical record, wherein the Planetary and Bhava dispositions at the
time of his/her birth are noted. Treating it as unchangeable, we call it as Fate of the individual. But, as per the
law of Universe, there is no such state as unchangeable. All the actions, depending upon the time-situation, are
subjected to change according to the Divine Orders.
Therefore, nothing is permanent /fixed in this Universe. The Dasa Bhukthi calculations, which are based on the
disposition of Moon are impermanent. Similarly, our thought patterns also. Hence, in order to get accuracy in
predictive astrology, the impermanent one (Will or Dasa Bhukthi) has to be synchronized with the permanent
one (Fate).
Dasa Bhukthis are building blocks of the predictive astrology. In my humble opinion, in the absence of Dasa
Bhukthis Astrology is incomplete. As we know, the 12 bhava cusps are determining the Fate of the individual.
But, all the incidents / actions denoted by Fate would not occur at a time in one lot. Dasa Bhukthis are executing
those events in their turn at a particular time according to the bhavas they are relating to.
In ascertaining the results of Dasa Bhukthis, K.B Astrology Method is specialist (individual) in nature. As per
this method, effects of Dasa Bhukthis (Will) are sourced out from the Bhava cusps (Fate). That is Will shall proceed in the footsteps of Fate and thereby execute its own duty.
Therefore, a planet in its Dasa Lordship is empowered to execute certain actions / significations of those bhavas
which are having this planet as Sub-Lord. Further, the Dasa (will) will execute the results effectively to the
extent of the Fate determined by those bhavas.
Nextly, the stellar disposition of the Dasa Lord should be taken note of. Because, the Dasa Lord is also empowered to undertake certain events / significations of those bhavas, which are having the bhava cusps corresponding
to the Star Lord of this Dasa Lord.
Nextly, the Sub-Lord of the Dasa Lord is determining the favourable / unfavourable results that can be expected
from the bhavas for which bhava cusps are establishing links with Sub-Lord. The basis is as follows: For any bhava,
the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th and 11th bhavas there from are promoting the bhava in question; the 4th, 8th, 10th and
12th bhavas there from are denigrating the bhava in question; and 6th and 7th bhavas there from is neutral in nature.
In short, the Dasa Lord will confer the results of those bhavas, which are associated by the Dasa Lord, Star Lord
of the Dasa Lord and Sub-Lord of the Dasa Lord. At the same time, the Fate of a bhava determined is restricted
exclusively to that bhava alone. But, the Will, i.e. the effects of Dasa Bhukthis are not restricted to any particular
bhava alone, instead they can exert influence on the other bhavas also as explained above. Let me explain this
with an example.
Let us assume that in a horoscope, Sub-Lord of Lagna bhava cusp is linked to 5th and 9th bhavas through its Star
and Sub-Lord. During the above said Dasa of Lagna lord, as the 5th and 9th bhavas are promoting the Lagna bhava,
Will proceeds on the path of Fate, and thereby very good health without any illness to the individual is ensured.
At the same time, this Dasa Lord doesnt fail to influence the other bhavas. When the 5th and 9th bhavas exert
influence on the 2nd bhava, the individual has to face financial deficiency during this Dasa. Because, the 5thand
9th bhavas are happening to be 4th and 8th bhavas respectively while reckoning from the 2nd bhava. Similarly,
while exerting influence on the 10th bhava (profession), severe set-back in profession is foreseen during this
Dasa, as the 5th and 9th bhavas are 8th and 12th bhavas respectively from the 10th bhava.
At the same time, as the 5th and 9th bhavas are in consonance with the promotion of other odd bhavas, during
this Dasa the individuals Lagna based karakas will be very good. But, as the 5th and 9th bhavas are supposed to
denigrate all the even bhavas, the individuals materialistic life itself suffered considerably during this Dasa.
But, suppose the Sub-Lords of 2nd and 10th bhava cusps are corresponding (through their Star Lord and SubLord) to the bhavas, which are favorable to 2nd and 10th bhavas, then Fate in this respect may be considered as
powerful. Then, the above said Dasa having connections with 5th and 9th are not fully empowered to destroy
the 2nd and 10th bhava significations in its entire Dasa.

During this Dasa period, when the Bhukthi Lord is establishing connections with 4th and 8th bhavas, during that
particular Bhukthi, Bhukthi Lord will overcome the Dasa Lord in promoting the individual with regard to his finance (2nd) and profession (10th). Because, 4th and 8th bhavas are respectively 12th from the 5th and 9th
bhavas.
The 2nd and 10th bhava significations will not be considerably affected till the Bhukthis of the planets having relationship with 3rd and 7th bhavas (being 12th from 4th and 8th bhavas) are coming to operate. Even then, when
the bhukthis of the planets having relationship with 2nd and 6th bhavas are operating, the Bhukthi Lord will overcome the Dasa Lord in conferring the results and prevent / resolve the problems, if any, with regard to his finance
(2nd) and profession (10th).
That is, Fate is generalistic whereas, Will (Dasa Bhukthis) is specialistic in nature. Will can confer
goodness to any particular bhava only to the extent of the Fate determined for that bhava and thereby it can
never overcome Fate. At the same time, it is noteworthy to observe that the Will (Dasa Bhukthis) is strong
enough to exert influence on all the 12 bhavas.
Therefore, general effects have to be determined by Fate and individual effects known as time-specific events are
ascertained by Will, i.e. Dasa-Bhukthis. Here, general effects are denoted by the actions (signified by the bhavas)
of an individual, in which he engaged himself for a long-time either favorably or unfavorably. But, the individual
effects (either favorable or unfavorable) represented by Will are of short duration in his life-time.
Even though a bhava is powerful by Fate, the actions / events denoted by that bhava can not be completed, in the
absence of any support from the then operating Dasa-bhukthis of the individual. The prevailing Dasa-Bhukthis
are fully empowered either to complete the action successfully or to put hold the event away from occurance.
At the same time, even though the bhavas are weak by Fate, to some extent the operating Dasa-Bhukthis can prevent the evil effects signified by those weak bhavas during their period, provided the prevailing Dasa-Bhukthis are
supposed to promote those events denoted by the corresponding bhavas.
A good Dasa is like a quality vehicle to travel and the Bhukthis are like its pathway. While traveling in a good quality
vehicle (good Dasa), even though the pathways (bad Bhukthis) are full of ups and downs, the destination can be
reached safely by the vehicle (Dasa) by surpassing the hurdles.
Conversely a bad Dasa is like a damaged vehicle and the Bhukthis are like its pathway. With the damaged vehicle
(evil Dasa) the destination could never be reached, even though the pathways (Bhukthis) are very smooth. Therefore, when a Dasa failed to confer good results during its own sub-period (Bhukthi), we can conclude that the Dasa is not at all good to that individual. Because, the Bhukthis are almost
inoperative to overcome the Dasa in providing contradictory results.
The Bhukthi lords are slightly empowered either to tone-up or to hold on the actions of the Dasa Lord, that too
only in a feeble manner. Similarly, the Antara Lords (sub-sub-lords) will work depending upon the nature of the
operating Bhukthis. In short, during the entire course of the Dasa, the effects of certain bhavas which are establishing strong relationship with the Dasa Lord, can be frequently expected.
A Dasa when favourably disposed of (by corresponding to good bhavas) in respect of the Ascendant-related significations (like health, education, conjugal relationships, etc.), the same Dasa should never be failed to denigrate
the Ascendant-independant significations (like wealth, profession, property, etc.). Here, when the Ascendant-independant significations are powerful by fate, the individual can reap some benefits during the relevant Bhukthis
of the same Dasa by overcoming the Dasa Lord.
That is, when a person involves in the actions of those bhavas which are not contravened by the Dasa-Bhukthis
(Will), the individual can reap very good results therefrom (the actions) and ultimately the bhava be promoted
considerably. The chances for failure of the individual in those actions are very remote. Thus comes the famous
saying of our ancestors, Fate can be overcome by Will.
Next, let me tell in brief as how to utilize the concepts of Dasa-Bhukthi-Anthra (Directions) in astrology.
To understand the fixed issues (like longevity, health, finance, conjugal relations, etc.) the Dasa Lord should be assessed. Because, these fixed issues are applicable to all the people at all times. As the span of the Dasa is lengthier

than that of Bhukthi, Anthara, etc., the Dasa Lord will exert his considerable influence on the fixed issues in the
entire Dasa.
Similarly, the occurances which are happening in a few years (like marriage, constructing house and child birth,
etc.) should be assessed from the Bhukthi Lords; the occurances which are happening in a few months or so (like
recovering from disease, debt, unexpected happy or sorrow, etc.) should be assessed from the Anthara Lords; and
the daily occurances should be assessed by assessing Sookshma Lords.
Among these, Anthara will work according to the Bhukthi and Bhukthi will work in consonance with the Dasa.
The Sookshma will work depending upon the Gochara (transits of planets). That is why our ancestors said that
the predictions should be made by duly considering the Vidhi (Fate), Mathi (Will) and Gathi (Transits). But, some
of our astrologers are used to consider Gochara (Transits of planets) with reference to the natal disposition of
Moon, i.e. Rasi (Moon Sign) only.
Even though they know pretty well that astrologically the total Signs (Moon Signs) in the Zodiac are just 12, they
are arriving predictions to the entire global mass of around 600 crore by classifying them as just 12 categories.
In other words, they are making similar predictions for some 50 crore people of each category. According to my
humble opinion, this is not only illogical but also unscientific.
Will shall proceed on the pathway of Fate in order to confer the results stored thereon in the form Fate. According to K.B.s method of Astrology, as Gochara (transit) is determined with reference to the Bhava cusps as
well as Directional influences in the form of Dasa-Bhukthis, the Gochara effects will be unique for each and every
person and therefore even for the persons who took birth in the minutest time-difference of one minute or so,
unique Gochara effects are determined.
A horoscope is a store-house of all the informations regarding an individuals birth to death. We, the astrologers
could not predict all those informations in advance. The actions/happenings occuring in human life can be classified
as two. First, the actions undertaken by ourselves frequently or for a long period of our life (fixed) and next, impermanent happenings / incidents of our life.
As astrologers, we can predict the results accurately only for fixed actions of human beings. Therefore, while making general predictions for an individual, we should consider the fixed issues only, for which the status of DasaLord should be assessed with due weightage.
Impermanent happenings / incidents of human beings has to be assessed only with reference to the situation and
contemporary circumstances. Because, the time of occurence of such happenings / incidents are mainly determined only with reference to the actions of the individual. Hence, when the individual is involving in an impermanent action, the time of its fruition has to be delineated with reference to the then operating Bhukthis and
Antaras.
A person without taking any effort but putting forth to the astrologer a question, which is not at all related to
his practical life-style, can very well be compared to asking a Doctor to predict the disease the individual would
get after 10 years or so.
For example, the effects of Dasa-Bhukthis of an individual, which corresponds to the 4th and 10th bhavas would
be as below. Fourth bhava denotes education, house, land, vehicle and production; and tenth bhava denotes profession, fame and excessive production. During these Dasa-Bhukthis, the effects / significations exclusively of
these two bhavas could not be expected.These 4th and 10th bhavas will exert influence on other bhavas also and
thereby confer good or bad effects to those bhavas. These 4th and 10th bhavas denote: financial flow as these
bhavas are 3rd and 9th from the 2nd bhava; increase in debt, disease and legal entanglements as these
bhavas are 11th and 5th from the 6th bhava; profession in competitive manner as these bhavas are 7th and
1st from the 10th bhava.
The 4th and 10th bhavas are increasing the bhava karakas of the 2nd, 6th and 10th bhavas. It is certain that the
above mentioned results are sure to happen during this period. But, suppose the requirement of the individual
is child-birth, then the job of the astrologer would be simple, if the individual seeks to know whether he can get
progeny during this Dasa-Bhukthi (4th and 10th) or not. As the 4th and 10th bhavas are 6th and 12th bhavas

reckoning from the 5th bhava, it can be assessed that the chances for progeny during this Bhukthi are remote.
But, during this Bhukthi, by delineating the period of Antharas which are corresponding to 3rd and 9th bhavas as
favorable for progeny, we can guide the individual properly.
Astrology possesses all the information of the universe in its mere 12 bhavas. Therefore, we should approach an
astrologer with an open mind to discuss our problems in order to get proper guidance from the astrologer, as if
approaching a doctor for our cure with free mind for counselling.

Will there be a switchover from Hotel Industry to Cine Field?

On 19.01.2006, a new client came to my residence with a request to examine his horoscope. He said that he
had been in the hotel industry since 20 years and had been incurring losses for a few recent years in the industry.
Therefore, he has requested me to examine his horoscope astrologically as to continue in the hotel industry or
to close it down.
Further, he wished to know whether he could come out with flying colours in the field of acting in Cinema and
Television, by quitting once for all the hotel industry. For the past two years, whenever chance arises, he used to
act in small roles in Cinema and Television serials since he was very much interested in the field of Art, as reported
by him.
Now, let me share the views offered by me to my client after examining his horoscope.
Before that let us see how the fate should be disposed of astrologically for undertaking the hotel business or art
field as full time profession.
Sixth bhava denotes Hotel Industry. That is, readers are well aware that the sixth bhava stands for food. In a horoscope, when the sub-lord of the 6th bhava cusp linked 8th and 12th bhava either from the 6th or from the 10th
one cannot undertake hotel industry as his profession.
But, when the 6th bhava cuspal sub-lord linked to its favorable bhavas viz. 2nd,4th,6th and 10th bhavas .These
bhavas are favorable to the 10th bhava also. Then it implies that the fate has been favorably disposed of to undertake hotel business as profession.
The Art Field was represented by the 5th bhava. That is, the 5th bhava denotes the significations, which are giving
pleasure to mind viz. prose, music and drama. Similarly, 7th bhava denotes audience or masses and 5th bhava is
11th (pleasure) from 7th bhava. Therefore, it can be inferred that the professions, which are promoting mental
pleasure and satisfaction to masses are all governed by the 5th bhava profession.
Therefore, in a horoscope, when the sub-lord of the 5th bhava cusp linked to 8th and 12th bhavas either from
the 5th bhava (i.e. 4th and 12th bhavas) or from the 10th bhava (i.e. 5th and 9th bhavas), that person cannot shine
in the field of Art long time .
But, when the 5th bhava cusp sub-lord corresponds to its favorable bhavas viz. 2nd,3rd,6th,7th,10th and 11th
bhavas both from the 5th bhava as well as from the 10th bhava, then it implies that the fate has been favorably
to shine well in the field of Art in long time.
The above said approach appears to be complex / complicated to the readers. Generally, 10th bhava stands for
ones profession. Similarly, each and every bhava have the karaka of 10th bhava. All the professions of the world
are represented by the 10th bhava under its general karaka. The specific professions denoted by particular
bhavas are known under special karaka. According to that, the field of Art is represented by 5th bhava; Food,
Dress and Health related fields are represented by 6th bhava; and House,Vehicle and Education related fields are
represented by 4th bhava.
The karakas of all the 12 bhavas piled up in any bhava have been narrated in detail in the book Jothidathin
Adippadai Thathuvam (The basic principles of Astrology) written by my guru Prasanna Jothidamani
K.Baskaran as well as in the book K.B.Jothida Muraiyil Vidhiyum Mathiyum (Fate and Will as per
K.B.s Method of Astrology) written by myself. By deep study of those books, readers can understand the
bhava karakas in lucid manner.
The 10th bhava determines a persons deserved fate in respect of his general occupation /profession. When the
sub-lord of the 10th bhava cusp linked to its 8th and 12th bhavas there from, the individual could not undertake
any occupation / profession in good manner.

But, when the sub-lord of the 10th bhava cusp linked to its favourable bhavas (from the 10th) viz. 2nd, 4th, 6th,
10th and 11th bhavas, the individual can earn good income as well as name and fame by his occupation / profession.
Duly considering the above in mind, let me share the details regarding the analysis made by me on the chart of
my client.
Firstly, let us examine whether the fate of 10th bhava is favorable to the individual or not. In this horoscope, the
sub-lord of the 10th cusp is Saturn. Therefore, Saturn is empowered to determine the fate of the occupation /
profession stored for the individual by its inter-links established with other bhava cusps through its Star Lord and
Sub-Lord.
In this horoscope, Saturn is in the star of Venus and in the Mercurys sub. Venus is the Sub-Lord of 1st, 3rd, 5th
and 9th bhava cusps. Mercury is the Sub-Lord of the 7th bhava cusp. Therefore, 10th bhava inter-links with 1st,
3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas.
These 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas are not favorable bhavas to 10th bhava, i.e. the bhava of profession, is considered. Suppose, if the sub-lord of the 10th bhava cusp inter links to the 5th and 9th bhavas only ,then the
house of profession may be considered as completely destroyed. Because, 5th and 9th bhavas are 8th and 12th
bhavas from the 10th bhava.
Here, as the sub-lord of the 10th bhava cusp links not only with 5th and 9th bhavas, but also 1st, 3rd and 7th
bhavas, the fate of 10th bhava is not destroyed completely. I invite the attention of the readers to this point. At
the same time, the fate of the 10th bhava should be considered as weak only.Therefore, the fate of the individual
is not favorable to continue in his profession in the long run.
Next, let us examine the fate determined for the individual for undertaking the hotel industry. 6th bhava denotes
hotel industry, as already I have explained that the 6th bhava karakas in the 10th bhava is hotel industry.Therefore
here Sub-Lord of the 6th bhava cusp is Jupiter. Jupiter is in the star of Ketu and in Saturns sub. Jupiter is not
only the sub-lord of the 6th alone, but also sub-lord of 2nd and 4th bhavas and thereby exerts combined influence.
Ketu is the sub-lord of the 11th bhava cusp and Saturn is the sub-lord of the 10th bhava cusp.
As the sub-lord of the 6th bhava, Jupiter establishes links with 2nd, 4th, 6th and 10th bhavas, 6th bhava is strengthened considerably. Because, 2nd, 4th, 6th and 10th bhavas are respectively 9th, 11th, 1st and 5th bhavas reckoned
from the 6th bhava. I wish to remember the readers, for every bhava the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th and 11th bhavas
there from are favourable; 4th, 8th, 10th and 12th bhavas there from are unfavorable; and 6th and 7th bhavas there
from are neutral in nature.
While the 6th bhava is getting strengthened on one side, at the same time these 2nd 4th, 6th and 10th bhavas
are supporting both 10th as well as 2nd bhavas. Therefore, the fate is favorably disposed of for earning money
through the hotel industry.
Next, let us examine whether the fate of the individual is supporting the field of Art or not. The sub-lord of the
5th bhava cusp is Venus, who is in the star of Mercury and in his own (Venus) sub.
Mercury is the sub-lord of the 7th bhava cusp. Venus is not only the sub-lord of the 5th bhava cusp but also of
the 1st, 3rd and 9th bhava cusps. Therefore, 5th bhava cusp establishes links with 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas.
The above bhavas are very favorable bhavas for the 5th bhava.
Venus is the significator of Arts. Venus, by being the sub-lord of the 5th bhava cusp and establishes links (through
its star and own sub) with the bhavas, which are promoting the 5th bhava. Therefore, the planetary karaka(of
Venus) as well as the bhava karaka(established by Venus) are supporting the field of Art, the fate of the individual
favors him to shine in the field in the long time.
When the 5th bhava gets strengthened, the links established by it viz. 1st, 3rd , 5th , 7th and 9th bhavas are
favourable neither for the 10th bhava nor the 2nd bhava. Hence, undertaking Art as full time profession (10th
bhava) and earning through it (2nd bhava) are not possible as far as the fate in this regard is concerned.
Therefore, according to the fate of the individuals occupation, hotel industry is favorable than the field of Art.
So far, we have seen the concept of fate alone, which exhibits the determined results stored for the individual in
the long run. The directional influences (Dasa Bhukthis) under the name of Will are fully empowered either to

prevent the results of fate or to promote them further. Therefore, let us now examine the current and future
Dasa Bhukthis of the individual.
Saturn Dasa is in operation for the individual from 07.06.1997 to 07.06.2016. Dasa Lord Saturn is in the star of
Venus and in the sub of Mercury. According to that, I wish to remember the readers once again, the Dasa Lord
Saturn establishes cuspal links with the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas.
The above bhavas (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas) are unfavorable both for the house of profession (10th bhava)
as well the house of hotel industry (6th bhava). That is, these bhavas (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas) include in
themselves the 8th and 12th bhavas reckoned from 6th and 10th viz.1st, 5th and 9th bhavas. Hence, during the
Saturns main period, the hotel industry has not prospered well.
But, as the bhavas 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th, which are linked by the Dasa Lord, are favourable for the 5th bhava
and as the Dasa Lord Saturn is in the Star of Venus, the main period of Saturn favors involvement of the individual
in the field of Art.
During the Saturn Dasa, Saturn Bhukthi, the individual could not run the hotel business smoothly. He incurred
heavy losses. But, during the same period, he got some opportunities to act in a few serials of small screen. This
continues up to the Mercury Bhukthi.
It is to be noted here that in the Saturn and Mercury Bhukthis of Saturn Dasa, the individual has not shown
proper interest in his hotel business. In the Ketu Bhukthi, which followed the Mercury Bhukthi, he did not get
chances for acting in the field of Art. He ignored the few opportunities in the Television channels and searched
for chances in Cine field. In the Ketu Bhukthi, he could not get it. But, he observed some improvements in his
hotel business during this ketu period.
Because, Ketu is in the star of Jupiter and in the sub of Moon. Ketu is the Sub-Lord of 11th bhava cusp. Jupiter
is the Sub-Lord of 2nd, 4th and 6th bhava cusps. Moon, by strongly establishing relationships with 2nd, 6th and
10th bhavas improved the 6th bhava prospects (the hotel industry). But, as the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 10th bhavas are
not supporting to the 5th bhava, the chances of acting has been reduced considerably during the Ketu Bhukthi
of Saturn Dasa (i.e. from 18.02.2003 to 28.03.2004).
The next Venus Bhukthi, which follows Ketu Bhukthi was favourable for the 5th bhava prospects. Already we have
seen that the links established by the Venus are 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas. As these cuspal links are detrimental (unfavorable) to the 6th bhava, the hotel business was affected severely during Venus Bhukthi of Saturn
Dasa (i.e. from 28.03.2004 to 29.05.2007).
As Venus is the Sub-Lord of the 5th bhava cusp, the Fate stored for the individual for 5th bhava will be executed
as Will of the individual and thereby thrive the native towards Art field. Further, as Venus is the Sub-Lord of ascendant also, his thought patterns and characteristics will be based on 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas. Then, let
us see how he was in the hotel industry for 20 years and above.
When the individual was undergone Jupiter Dasa, the hotel business was running successful. Because, Jupiter is
the Sub-Lord of the 2nd, 4th and 6th bhava cusps. Jupiter is in the star of Ketu and in the Sub of Saturn. Ketu is
the Sub-Lord of 11th bhava cusp and Saturn is the Sub-Lord of the 10th bhava cusp. Therefore, Jupiter establishes
strong cuspal links with the 2nd, 4th and 6th bhavas.
Further, being the Sub-Lord of the 6th bhava, Jupiter executed the results of 6th bhava fully. In this horoscope,
even though the fate in respect of occupation, i.e. 10th bhava (Saturn) is not well-disposed, the planets which are
in the star of Saturn (here Jupiter and Mercury are in the star of Saturn) will execute the results of 10th bhava
according to their cuspal links.
Accordingly, Jupiter by being the Sub-Lord of the 2nd, 4th and 6th bhava cusps and thereby strengthens the bhavas
so as to proceed the Will on the path of Fate. Therefore, it paved way for good financial status and accumulation
of property, etc. Further, Mercury is the Sub-Lord of the 7th bhava cusp, which is in the star of Saturn and
Mercury establishes links with 10th bhava cusp. Therefore, he got up lift from the customers of his profession.
Because, 7th bhava denotes clients , social relationship and own business.

In the subsequent period (during August 1998), i.e. of Venus Antara in Saturn Bhukthi in Saturn Dasa, the Government has acquired the land of the individual where the hotel was situated and compensated him with an
amount. As the cuspal links established by Saturn viz. 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th bhavas are detrimental (unfavourable) to 6th and 10th bhavas, particularly as the 3rd and the 9th bhavas are pointing to shifting of business
place to new place, all the above incidents happened during Saturn Dasa and Saturn Bhukthi.
As Saturn is the lord of the Dasa, similar results can be expected during the entire period of Saturn Dasa. Since,
Saturn is the Sub-Lord of the 10th bhava cusp, Saturn is empowered to confer (here unfavorable) results in
respect of 10th bhava by proceeding the Will on the path of Fate in its entire Dasa period.
Further, the Fate of 5th bhava also not in consonance with 2nd and 10th bhavas, he can not undertake Art as his
profession for his earning and survival. But, the subsequent bhukthis of Venus viz. Moon, Mars, Rahu and Jupiter
in seriatim are in favour of 6th and 10th bhavas, and thereby these bhukthis opposed the Dasa Lord in order to
run the hotel business to some extent.
When we look into the subsequent Mercury Dasa, Mercury is in the Star of Saturn and in the sub of Mars. Mercury is the Sub-Lord of 7th bhava and Saturn is the Sub-Lord of the 10th bhava. Mars is in the 7th bhava without
establishing any cuspal links with other bhavas.
As Mercury establishes links with 7th and 10th bhava cusps, which are favorable for the 6th and 10th bhavas, the
hotel business will succeed well for the native during the Mercury Dasa. Therefore, I have advised the individual
to reduce the investments in the hotel business upto the current (at the time of consultation) Dasa-Bhukthi
viz.Venus Bhukthi in Saturn Dasa (from 28.03.2004 to 29.05.2007) as far as possible. Further, I have advised him
to wait for the end of the above period as the subsequent periods (the directional influences) will turn to be
favourable for hotel business.
Therefore, Hotel business is better for the individual rather than resorting to Art field for profession. With an
open mind, I have shared this lengthy article with the readers, in order to explain the art of synthesizing, analyzing
and differentiating the concepts of Fate (i.e. store house of results) and Will (Dasa-Bhukthis).
