Make it Work
Depth of experience of work unattainable on work placement
A 2 day project, with Key Stage 4 students allocated to employers, working on an
industry-specific challenge and presenting back their findings at the end of the
programme. 170 students were involved overall along with over 40 business
volunteers. Each employer set complex group challenges addressed by teams of
students who then reported back via a variety of mediums.

EMPLOYABILITY DAYS
Over 2800 Kent students were able to take advantage of a series of business
supported Employability Days, each one tailored to support school IAG requirements,
with workshops centred around the interview process, CV building and effective
communication just a few of the numerous activities that built these bespoke days.
Evaluations have moved on no longer it was fun but much more about the
incremental growth of skills that will transfer to the workplace. Programmes are intertwinned with schools CEIAG plans to complement all activity scheduled for the
different Key Stages.
