To Whom It May Concern,

I have had the pleasure of working with Katie Gomez for two years at Crowley
Middle School. Mrs. Gomez is currently Crowley Middle Schools instructional coach
supporting the English department. Her commitment to excellence for teachers,
students, and herself is evident in her exemplary work ethic as she goes above and
beyond for teachers and students each day.
Mrs. Gomez is a natural leader at Crowley Middle School. She leads professional
learning community meetings as teachers plan, disaggregate data, receive
professional learning, and have critical conversations. Mrs. Gomez not only ensures
teachers receive needed professional development, but she also leads or facilitates
the learning. Mrs. Gomez has led her team in lesson planning, writing questions,
planning activities, gathering valuable resources, and essay writing, leading to
increased student complex thinking and learning.
Mrs. Gomez sets the example for fellow educators. She attends any professional
development her campus teachers are attending so that she can support them and
their students. She has also initiated teacher observations to grow in her own
learning and understanding of multiple levels of English Language Arts across the
district. Because of her continuous learning and professional excellence, Mrs.
Gomez plays an intricate role in her campus achievements.
Mrs. Gomez is an invaluable part of Crowley Middle Schools success. She would be
a positive addition to anyones campus or district, and I highly recommend her for
any position.
