Creative Arts Camp

LUNCH and WATER: Each child should bring: a lunch each day and a water bottle.
SNACKS: We'd like parent(s) to bring/send a snack for one of the days for everyone to share
(NO nuts or peanuts. Are there any other food allergies among us?)
SCHEDULE: I week in July - 9am to 3:30pm / starts and ends at Central Church

Theme: Three Options presented Below
Each day (approximately):
9:00- 10:00 Godly Play story and theme for framing the day
10:00- 11:15 Music Lesson & Activity (Activity will be something to prepare for Guest
Performance)
11:15-11:45 Lunch
12:00- 12:45 Chapel
(30 minute childrens worship service modeled after
daily prayer and taize services)
1:00- 2:00
Drama or Visual Arts
2:00-2:30
Guest Performance with Q&A
2:45-3:30

Volunteers needed:
Monday Thursday Godly Play Story Tellers
Monday & Wednesday- Drama teacher and assistant*
Tuesday & Thursday- Visual Arts teacher and assistant*
Monday- Thursday- 2 Music & Chapel assistants
*assistants for Drama & Visual Arts classes could be youth (grades 7-12)

10:45-11:15- Organ Crawl (tour of organ chambers and basic how the instrument works)

2:00- 2:30 mini organ lecture recital (20 minutes music and explanation- 10 minutes Q&A)
