Duties and Responsibility for Inspection:

The Quality Control Inspector tasks that includes:
Coating Inspection:
Carry-out Tanks Inspection of Surface Preparation & Painting Works.
Witnessing and carrying out the checks accompanied with pre-application,
application e.g. Surface preparation, climatic conditions, materials preparation,
after application checks, marking areas of defects and assurance of repair
compliance, validity of equipment and materials storing conditionsetc.
Experience for Inspection of FBE, 3LPE and 3LPP in Vendor Manufacturer Pipe and
for Pipeline Coating, Field Joint Coating, and Heat shrink Sleeve, Visco-Elastic
Coating System Wrapping for Underground.
Study of clients specification and developing (or approving already prepared)
technical procedure according to the standards and requirements specified,
attending the pre-job conference and the periodical meetings.
Experience of all Coating Inspection Instruments / Gages and Test kits in level of
using (as inspector) that includes: Climatic Conditions gages and measurements.
DFT Magnetic / Ultrasonic Gages and measurements. Surface visible cleanliness
comparators. Surface profile gages. Surface Contaminations Test Instruments,
Surface Temperature Thermometers, Pinholes, Holiday and Discontinuity Testers
of Dry applied Coats. Adhesion Testers of Dry applied Coats.
Conversant To Most of the International Codes Required Standard (Aramco
Engineering Standard, BSI, ASTM, ISO, SSPC and NACE).
Certify reports prepared by the applicator, and reporting to the client.
Preliminary Design and Check all the Painting and protective Coating Systems.
Method of Application included: Spraying (Air, Airless and Plural Component Spray
Systems), Field and Shop Application.
Witnessing and approving pre-job evaluation / after completion final acceptance
tests.
Preparing the daily work schedule and the weekly work plan, that includes man
power, equipment, materials, and working hours, liaison affiliated parties e.g.
subcontractors, suppliers, construction etc
Assessment of the Q/A system of applicator(s) regarding coating job in concern
(documentation, personnel CVs, Calibration certificates, Maintenance reports,
Materials validity certificates, Chemical analysis certificatesetc.
Carrying out failure Analysis assessment for old coating systems, recording and
reporting coating Failure Analysis according to the standardized report form (Defect

size, distribution, pattern, and shape), advising of a repair system and procedure.

Generate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports On The quality Status of All the

Activities with Their Scheduler for Completion. Types of Coating include: Wide
range of Generic types of Liquid Paints (External, Internal), Pipelines Coating .

Insulation Inspection:
Inspection of Storage Tanks for Cold Insulation like (Propylene Tank and
Propane, Butane)
Carry out inspection for PUF Insulation likes Straight, Comprise and
Volume, Density and also Thickness for Insulation Product.
Perform Inspection for PULL OF TEST of First Layer of PUF Insulation for
Tanks Walls and Bottom Plate.
Carry-out Inspection of Cryogenic or Perlite Filling for Double wall Tank
and for Cold Box Equipment.
Inspection for Hot Insulation of Tanks Like (Tailing Tower Tank & Acoustic
Tank with Internal Insulation for Bottom.)
Study of specification and developing (or approving already prepared) technical
procedure according to the standards and requirements specified, attending the
pre-job conference and the periodical meetings.
Review the P&ID Drawing Piping for Temperature in Insulation of the
thermal Hot and Cold Insulation.
Carry-out of Inspection in the Equipment for Insulation- (Boiler, HRSG
Heat Recovery of Steam Generators. And Reactor Vessel & Column Vessel,
Exchanger Equipment, Directors Drum & Tank, Cold box.)
Checking the material for Insulation and the Equipment using to the
thermal Hot and Cold insulation.
Surveillance the gab fault of Insulation in stagger line. Measuring the
standards of length of band or belt inside and outside and Alignment of
Insulation/Cladding Weather Jacketing.
Monitoring the constructions of the work and Surveillance the materials
for insulation.
Review the RFI of Request for Inspection and also the attach document
paper. And base into the ITP or QCTP for Quality Control Test Plan
requirements.

 Surveillance the contractor work's if the procedures are been follows in

specification.
