Nick Zabriskie suggested you might be interested In working with Uber on an Initiative we're launching
next week called UberUP.
Across the east coast, Uber Is working on a project with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City. In
Pittsburgh, we're making a commitment to onboard 1000 driver partners in 2015. in order to achieve
this, we're teaming up with some local community organizations to spread the word and help match
people looking for jobs with the jobs we have. Is this something you might be Interested in working with
us with as well?

I've attached a one pager with more information on the UberUP program. We're planning to have a
kickoff event on Monday, May 11 from 6-8pm at the Kingsley Community Center, which we'd love to
have you and Mayor Peduto attend.
If you have some time, I'd be happy to give you a call and walk you through the program.
Best regards,

Looks very BNE-ish on multiple fronts. Do you want to first meet with them yourself, or have
me/Managers set up a meeting to flush things out? Should we briefly discuss any cab nuances before
setting up a meeting with them? Let me know what direction you prefer taking.

some great partnership opportunities here that could tie in nicely with initiatives like our Uber UP efforts
to recruit 1000 new drivers from urban communities in collaboration with the Heinz Endowments,
Design Center Pittsburgh, Global Pittsburgh, and others.
We'd love to talk further about any ways we might be able to help if you folks are at all interested. I've
cc'd our General Manager for Pittsburgh, Jennifer Krusius too for convenience.
Great set of proposals. I hope we can find a way to support the Mayor and his goals!
Best and Happy Fourth of July!
