ABSTRACT

Knowledge about nursing professional roles cover as health care giver, advocator,
administer and researcher expected could increase student learning motivation
internally and externally for them whom having educational process for
behavioral changing. The purpose of this research is to identified correlation about
knowledge of nursing profesional roles toward college student learning
motivation of Regular and Non Regular A Nursing Departement Medical Faculty
Unsyiah Banda Aceh 2012. This research design is correlation descriptive
random sampling. Using Slovin Formula procured 91 respondents through lottery
technique for defined samples every class. Data gathering is obatained at January
13th 16th, 2012 using multiple choice questioner and Likert Scale. The Data
analyzes using univariat and bivariat. The Research Result gained nursing
Profesional Roles through learning motivation have meaningful relationship it is
shown with P-value (0,010) this point support with result of every sub variable.
Professional roles as health care giver through learning motivation gets P-value
(0,017) results from three sub variable shown a presence meaningful correlation.
Afterward in sub variable as research gets P-value (0,209) which mean no
meaningful correlation. From the results above, its expected could be
recommendation for nursing instructor in order to get additional information,
solution in order to increase students skill particularly in nursing science.
