Upon receiving my Bachelor of Engineering (Information Technology, 2011 2015) degree I
plan to continue my education by pursuing MS major in Computer Science from Texas A&M
University in order to more deeply explore the Computer science field with a focus on bringing
theory and practical together. With this opportunity I hope I would be able to make a strong
contribution in the areas to solve the challenges faced by the industry in the near future. In
addition to my personal challenge my familys strong support for becoming an educated
individual motivated me to take a step further for seeking admission in masters program at
Texas A&M University.
My respect for education and inclination towards applied science drove me to opt for
mathematics, physics and chemistry as majors in my high school. Upon completion of my high
school with all A grades and a distinction in Bachelors, my interest gradually increased towards
leveraging the use of Information technology with various science fields especially applied
sciences. My under graduate studies also provided me with a firm background in Computer
Science and exposure to various programming languages such as C, C#, PL SQL and SQL as
well as Basic Sciences and Engineering Mathematics. Apart from these, I had a wide exposure to
subjects such as Digital Image processing (DIP), Data Mining, Discrete Mathematics (DM),
Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Graph theory, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Operating Systems
(OS), Database and Management System (DBMS), Web Technologies (WT), Network
Programming (NP), Software Engineering (SE), etc.
I was greatly inspired my Professor Ayesha Ameen who is an expert in Ontology, Digital Signal
Processing, Image Processing and Data Mining, she allowed me to complete my project under
her guidance. I started to explore the essence of the Image analysis when I did my project
entitled ZChat App where I was able to allow access to users after face recognition. This was
the first sight when my interest in Image analysis and signal processing got boosted up.
Then I began to start working on combining Artificial Neural Networks with Wireless mobile
communications technology and I was succeeded in doing so. In my last semester I developed an
application based on neural networks for finding the path loss in various environments. The aim
was to eliminate signal degradation. I achieved this goal under the supervision of Dr. Quddusa
Sultana who supported me with her priceless efforts and suggestions.

This under graduate program had been an exposure to various fields for further education and
portrayed a clear scenario to me. To have a good career in research it is necessary to have a finer
study in the area of interest and I believe that this graduate program will make me climb up to
the finer extent of the subjects.
I want to concentrate on the advancement in Computer Science and its related fields and I hope
that I would be able to contribute a part in this field.
I am totally convinced of my ability to succeed in masters program in Computer Science at
Texas A&M University, Commerce, TX. I believe I have the qualities to be a good student and a
good researcher in Computer Science stream I would also like to get involved in research and
development work in this area. The need for exposure to a multi culture environment has
prompted me to seek an opportunity to study in the United States. I have a huge aptitude and an
enthusiastic desire to learn various technologies that help me grow professionally and personally
by adopting global standards especially in research and development. I hope that my background
and qualifications are found suitable for a Masters degree program in Computer Science major
at Texas A&M University, Commerce, TX.
