Sol.: Let u be the velocity and the angle of projection for a fragment reaching
the man. According to the question the greatest value of u can be 20 m/s.
If t be the time taken by this fragment to reach the man, then considering
the horizontal and vertical motions of the fragment,

(7) A ball is projected, so as to just clear two walls, the first of height 12 m at a
