Supervisor Glaab called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM and led the Pledge of Allegiance to
the Flag.

Motion by Kathlene Van Wasshnova, seconded by Jeremy Cady to postpone item 10d., Setting
Deputy Clerk's Salary, to the February 8 Board of Trustee meeting, with this change move to
approve the Agenda of the December 28, 2016 Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees.

DPW Purchase of Snow Equipment

Motion by Kathlene Van Wasshnova, seconded by Michael Glaab to approve the purchase of a
Snow Blower in the amount of $6,200.00 and a DV 14' Dump Trailer in the amount of
$6,959.00.
Ayes all, Motion carried.
c.

Appointment of Members to the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Land

Development Financial Authority (LDFA), Planning Commission, Parks and
Recreation, Board of Review, and Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA).

Motion by Kathlene Van Wasshnova, seconded by Michael Glaab to approve the

recommendations of the Township Supervisor to appoint various members to the DDA, LDFA,
Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation, and Board of Review committees per the attached
list.
Ayes, David Glaab, Kathlene Van Wasshnova, Michael Glaab, Nays, Jeremy Cady, John Chont,
Colleen Lazere, David Patterson, Motion defeated.
Moved by Kathlene Van Wasshnova to approve the recommendation of the Township
Supervisor to appoint Colleen Lazere to the ZBA. Motion was withdrawn.

a.

Comments included:
Have a safe and happy New Year.
Goodfellows delivered many Christmas presents to Huron Township Kids and Seniors.
Rotary and Sportsman Club will be having Winterfest Feburary 11, 2016.
Thanked the DPW on the purchase of the new snow equipment.
