The target consumer segment for the product are the members from the high socio economic
classes who would be willing to purchase SUVs and be willing to spend more on these tires
as they cater to the niche market segment.

The pricing objective is to achieve maximum market penetration in the SUV market segment
and cater to the consumers in this niche category and then building on it further

Conclusion
On calculating the value of the product by the van Westendorp model and analysing the
results, we have decided to price the Airless tires at Rs.
The tires will be sold in a bundle of 4 for both replacement as well as OEM purposes. As the
market for SUVs is growing rapidly, the product needs to be marketed aggressively in this
segment in order to create more awareness about the product and also to create a niche
consumer base which can help in improving market share after the launch of the product.
