JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF TWO DISINTERESTED PERSONS

WE, HUMILDAD F. PARTOSA and ADRIANO G. VIOLA, both married,
both of legal age, both Filipinos, and both are residents of Calabnugan, Sibulan, Negros
Oriental, after having been sworn in accordance with the law hereby depose and state
that;
We personally know SOTERO VALLESPIN CARTA, for we are long time
acquaintances and his family is a close friend and neighbor at Calabnugan, Sibulan,
Negros Oriental;
We know for a fact that the person by the name of "SOTERO VALLESPIN
CARTALLA" as appearing in some documents or specifically in his SS Record Name, and
other public documents, and the name of SOTERO VALLESPIN CARTA as
appearing in his Certificate of Live Birth, refer to one and the same person and that his
true and correct name is SOTERO VALLESPIN CARTA;
We know he mistakenly thought his family name was Cartalla since he
was a child and that he has been using the same erroneous last name for most
of his life;
We are not in any way related to any of the foregoing person within the fourth civil
degree either by consanguinity or affinity, nor do we have any pecuniary interest in this
matter whatsoever;
To remove confusion as to the two names, we hereby declare that the
name SOTERO VALLESPIN CARTALLA and SOTERO VALLESPIN CARTA
refer to one and the same person;
We are executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the foregoing
statements and to establish the real identity of SOTERO VALLESPIN CARTA and for
all legal intents and purposes it may serve.
