PERMIT TO CAROL
RULES AND GUIDELINES
(per LBVHOA Board Resolution on 12/10/2016)

1) As a matter of policy for general peace and order purposes, any CHRISTMAS
CAROLING or SINGING that collects from residents for charitable cause is
NOT ALLOWED within the La Buena Vida community (Phase 1 & 2), unless
the PERMIT TO CAROL is obtained.
2) ALL Individuals or Groups (including homeowners or residents) who wish to
do any house-to-house caroling or singing during the yuletide season MUST
first register and secure the PERMIT TO CAROL from the LBVHOA Board
(thru the HOA President or HOA Secretary or other designated Officer/s).
3) Upon requesting for permit, the caroling group or Requesting Party must
indicate the name of its organization or affiliation/charity cause (if any), the
intended date/s for caroling and the full names and addresses of each
participant of the group. In case of minors, written permission slip/s from their
parent/s or guardian must be submitted before they are allowed to carol.
4) The issuance of PERMIT TO CAROL is FREE but a valid ID card must be
surrendered by the Requesting Party and to be returned only after the end of
their caroling activity. It is understood that the permit is not a guaranteed
consent of the individual households in La Buena Vida but just the same, such
permit MUST BE SHOWN BEFOREHAND to every homeowner or household
visited, without need for its demand, prior to actual caroling.
5) No caroling shall be allowed beyond curfew hours or after 10 o'clock in the
evening.
6) Shouting or loud singing while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly
prohibited. The HOA security guard/s-on-duty is authorized to compel any
violator/s or groups caroling without the permit to immediately stop and leave
the subdivision premises peacefully.
7) The LBVHOA Board reserves the right to revoke or refuse grant of permission
to any Requesting Party found to be a nuisance or are causing any form of
threat or trouble to the residents or neighborhood.
8) It is understood that the each caroling group shall bear at its own risk for any
untoward accidents that may occur and that they agree to hold the LBVHOA
free and harmless from any liability or claims that may arise during the caroling
activities within the subdivision premises.
I/we hereby signify that we have read or understood the above Rules and Guidelines (or as
translated in Cebuano) and that I/we hereby agree to faithfully abide and comply with the same.
