F (3.75mm) crochet hook or any hook to achieve one of the 3 measurements

Worsted weight yarn: Main color (MC) and Contrasting color (CC)
Yarn needle
2 buttons
Measuring tape

- Size S Using MC, ch 9.
Rnd 1: 2 hdc in the 3rd hook from the hook, hdc in next 5 chs, 6 hdc in next ch, (rotating your work to work on the opposite side of
the foundation ch) hdc in next 5 chs, 2 hdc in last ch, sl st to beg hdc. (20 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 hdc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in next 6 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in next 2 sts, sl st to beg hdc. (30 sts)

Attach CC yarn at 6th chain to the left from the joining sl st (See Fig. 2-A).
