Notice OF ADMISSION (2016-17)Bangabasi


Evening College (updated):

Candidates those who have filled and printed out the On Line Admission Form and paid
the registration fees of Rs 100/- (Cost of Form) through Bank Challan (offline) or through
card / internet banking (online) within 14.6.16 (extended) will be considered for
preparing Merit List (after that the Online Admission link will be closed). The Merit List
will be published in this webpage (www.bangabasievening.edu.in) on 16.6.16.

The selected candidates would be asked to come to the office of the college from 21st

to 23th June from 5 to 7 pm with the original Higher Secondary Mark Sheet,

Secondary Mark Sheet, Age proof Certificate, and Scheduled Caste/Tribe/OBC/Physically


Challenged certificate (if applicable) and the original copy of paid Challan / Ereceipt for verification.

After verification they would have to deposit Xerox copy of all Mark sheets and
Certificates, as mentioned above, along with two Passport-Size colored Photographs to
the College Office. College Prospectus would be issued to the Candidates and they
would be allowed to deposit Admission charges through Bank (SBI Collect) by offline /
online from this webpage within 22 to 24th June 2016.

After verification of its account the college would issue the Fees Book to each Student.
Classes are most likely to commence from third week of July 2016.

Candidates aspiring for Physiology Hons. Course (whose documents have been verified
by this college within 23.6.16) are hereby instructed to deposit admission fees within
27.6.16 by printing the challan amounting to Rs 5240/- to any branch of SBI.

The candidates who have deposited the Admission Fees are instructed to contact the
college office on 8.7.16 to collect the Prospectus, Fees Book and Identity Card.

However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribe community taking
up Honours Course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or
40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examinations, as the case
may be.

Selection would be on the basis of best of 4. The Merit list would be published in due
time.
*Any student from Science stream would be allowed to the Arts Hons of History,
Political Sc Sanskrit, and Philosophy if he/she gets 50% marks in best of 4 excluding
environmental science. The same is applicable for Science students to take admission in
Economics if passed in mathematics.
Vocational students are only eligible to General course.
Science students may apply for commerce stream provided he has passed in
Mathematics if other conditions satisfy.
Full marks of English as a subject must be of 100 marks.
For admission in general stream direct admission is allowed, if the candidate gets pass
marks in aggregates and all the subjects.

Documents required during Admission:


1. Admit Card of MadhyamikPariksha or equivalent examinations or Age Proof with
photocopy self attested.
2. Original Mark Sheet and Admit Card of Higher Secondary Examinations or other
equivalent examinations with photocopies SELF attested.
3. SC/ST/OBC certificate from District Magistrate or Sub Divisional Officer. No Certificate
from other authority will be accepted for this purpose.
4. Passport-size photographs (2 copies)
5. Mark-sheets from unaffiliated board/council/universities will not be entertained.
6. No Objection Certificate from foreign students along with Student Visa
7. A candidate may be admitted to the Part I (Honours& General) course/examination
provided he/she has pursued a regular course of study for not less than one academic year

in a college or colleges affiliated to the University in the subjects which the candidate
takes up after passing the H.S. Examination (H.S.Course) conducted by the WBHSC or
an equivalent examination recognized as such by the University in five recognized
subjects of full marks not being less than 100 each of which at least one shall be English.
8. Student must produce the Original Admit Card and Mark Sheet issued by the Board /
Universities concerned and SC/ST/OBC certificate at the time of document verification.
9. All type of admission would be through Bank. Challan would be generated in the college
on the basis of submission of form. The selected candidates would be asked to submit
fees through the bank.
