Nutrition Improvement Plan

Worked for Mild


Initial Findings:

Commendations: Mild gets enough amount of protein and simple


carbohydrate
Recommendation: Mild currently does not eat enough of complex carb, and
mineral or fiber. Also, she needs to eat more plant based foods such as fruits,
vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds to gain more vitamins and good
fats. She needs to use good oil to decrease amount of bad fats. Moreover, she
needs to eat less of sodium, refined sugar, and bad cholesterol (LDL).

Dietary Recommendations:

Mild should begin the day with whole grain products with variety of
vegetables (6 different vegetables) to make sure she has enough of complex
carb, vitamin, and fiber or mineral. In addition, she can have some nut or
seed in the morning (depend).
According to the nutrition task, Mild has too much of LDL (bad) cholesterol.
So, Mild should make some snack mix which including nut, seeds, and dried
fruits that unprocessed instead of eating too much of dessert such as
chocolate, chips, etc. to help feel full. Also, this can help decrease amount of
refined sugar that cause by eat snacks or drink sweet drink.
At lunch, Mild can continue eat as usual. But, she should avoid using bad oil.
In addition, she might have brown rice or whole grain instead of white rice.
Then, end the lunch with some fruit.
At dinner she may continue eat a meal at the same, but must include
vegetables and using good oil (if can). Moreover, she should use less of
sauces to decrease amount of sodium.
