From the North; Take 1-580 to the Highway 980 exit to downtown
Oakland. Stay on 980 and take the 11th/12th St. exit. Go straight to 7th St.
Tum left on 7th and proceed to Washington Street. The courthouse is on
your right.
From the South; Follow 1-880 North to the Broadway exit. Go through to
the second light. You are on 6th St. at Washington. The courthouse is
between 6th and 7th Streets.

You are summoned to appear for JURY SERVICE beginning on the date indicated.
Bring this summons with you.

the night before your summons date. For a Monday summons date, please call Sunday
evening after 5:00 PM for reporting instructions. Click on JURY REPORTING

(located on the jury badge portion of this summons) to access the automated IVR
system.
WEB-SITE REPORTING: Log on to www.alameda.courts.ca.gov after 5:00PM on the
night before your summons date for your reporting Instructions. You will need your
four-digit GROUP NUMBER (located on the jury badge portion of this summons) to get
the REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS for your GROUP NUMBER. The WEB site is available 24
hours a day. If you are instructed to appear as a juror, please complete the JUROR
INFORMATION box located on the back ofthe summons prior to reporting for service.
POSTPONEMENT: Jury service may be postponed one time at least six months and not
more than twelve months from the summons date. For a postponement, you can call the
IVR number (510) 12g..8600, or go on-line to the Eiuror WEB address:
https:llejuror.alameda.courts.ca.gov/ and enter the PARTICIPANT NUMBER AND BIRTH
DATE (Please NOTE: this can only be done when the summons date is six days or more
from the date of request).
