As I watched the filmEarth, There are a huge humanity problems in

this period(1947) includes the partition of India , the cultural distribution

and the ideas of two major leadership (Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal
Nehru).This led India to have a huge conflict but however, some continent
of India has been separate apart.
Since the British has finally left after the second world war and the
leadership movement, India has gain an independence. But think more
insight, India have a great population of Hindu and Sikh while the IndiaMuslim also involved. To gain an independence ,India must be unity but
because the Muslim has different believe in doctrine, religious and god
while Hindu and Sikh has some of similarity. This is unacceptable for the
Muslim to be mixed with others religion. Finally, the nation has been
separated into two independent state: Hindu-majority India and Muslimmajority Pakistan.
The idea of two leadership Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, they
were both heroes of India history. They both worked for India freedom but
Gandhi and Nehru both had different personalities although they worked
for the same goal. Gandhis idea, was more spiritual. He introduced the
non-violence and purity through the Indians. To fix the problem Gandhi
empowered all people to believe in themselves and cultivate the idea that
everyone must be a part in order to gain an independence. For the
religious acceptation, Gandhi open new idea and opinion that every
religious can be unite together does not necessary to be all the same
religion. Focusing in Nehrus idea, there is a bit of differences. Nehru isnt
spiritual as Gandhi. He has an idea of nationalism and socialism which he
believe that India must have a massive industrialization, scientific and
technological advancement and also believe western education and
parliament democracy will lift up India. In comparison, we can describe
that Nehru has more western idea while Gandhi has a introduced a selfstrengthen without hypocrisy and people will be unite to move forward
together. Nevertheless, Gandhi seems to be less modernize than Nehru
but he more likely to have a high morality which I also strongly agree that
Gandhis idea would be more effective to unite the India.
