Points.The+1stator+8HPcardscost1CPeach;the+2stator+16HPcardscost3CP
each.Youonlyhave3pointstospendandmaynotchooseanycardmorethanonce.So,youmaybump3
individualstats,orasinglestatforthe3points.

YoumayelecttotakeaFlawortwofromSet111.Therearecurrently9Flaws:Bad
Reputation,Clumsy,FearofBunnies,FearofRats,ShortFuse,Ugliness,Unhealthy,
Unobservant,andWeakling.EachFlawhasapenaltyasdescribedonthecard,butalso
grantsadditionalCPwithwhichtocreateyourcharacter.MostFlawsproviderole
playingopportunities,sochoosingoneisoftenfun.Youmaychooseatmost2different
Flaws.TheShortFuseFlawisshown.

Finally,youmaychooseupto2Traitstoincludewithyourstartingcharacter.
Thereare4setsofTraitscards,Sets106109,whichtotal36cards.Thatistoo
manytolisthere,butallofthemprovidebonusesinsomeway.Forexample,

andSPD.Thischaracterislargeandpowerful,butclumsyandslow.Somerestrictionsmayapplyifyou

havetakenanyFlaws.TheserestrictionsareontheFlaworTraitcards,orboth.Ifyouarecreatinga
startingcharacterfromjustthe2.0StarterDeck,youwillnothaveaccesstotheTraitsandFlawcard
setsunlessyoupurchasedthemseparately.

setsthatareavailabletohim/her.IfyoureaShifter,youllhaveaccesstotheShifter
setsofyourtype;or,ifanOrc,youllusetheOrcsets,250&251.Youmayalsochoose
anyotherUniversalCards.UniversalsareinSets302,303,&318.Yourtotalcardpoints
availableincludethe20yourracestartswithplusanyadditionalearnedthroughFlaws.
ThetotalCPofallcardschosen,includingyourpermanentsmustequalthosetotalcard
points.IfyouchosetobeClumsyandaWeakling,youwouldhave30CPtostart.You
maychooseanycardsavailable.IfyouareaShifter,youmusttake1Formcardinto
whichtoshapeshift.Inordertoconservepoints,mostchoosethe1CPBasicForm.

anotherCPtoyourcharacter.

Now,youmayusepartorallofyourstartingGoldPiecestobuyequipment.Allnormalequipmentisavailable.
YoushouldcheckwithyourGM/WardenifyoudesireaMagicItemorsomethingunusual,tomakecertainitis
available.

Finally,youllhaveaCharacterRecordSheetonwhichtorecordpertinentinformationaboutyourcharacter.
AllofthecardsyouvechosensofararePermanentcards.Ifyoulookbelow
thepicture,orunderthetitleoncardswithoutapicture,thereisaP.That
meanspermanent.Thesecardspermanentlybecomepartofyourcharacter.
