JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Health Education and Promotion Officer III in the conduct of health education and promotion activities such as trainings, development of modules and training materials,
planning and formulation of health education policies and guidelines on health education for the promotion of well being of school learners as well as teaching and non-teaching
personnel.

JOB SUMMARY
Promotes, protects and maintain the health and nutritional well-being of the total school population through the conduct of health education and promotion activities such as trainings,
development of modules and training materials, planning and formulation of health education policies and guidelines on health education.

Eligibility Relevant Board Examination; C.S. (Professional); Licensure Examination for Teachers

Plans and formulates policies and guidelines on health education program;


Coordinates the development, strengthening and revision of health educational aspects of the curricula;
Conducts surveys and studies on general health conditions in schools;
Initiates researches and studies relative to health education;
Provides advisory and guidance services to school health educators;
Prepares and submits periodic reports of accomplishments;
Acts as resource person and/or consultant in in-service trainings;
Evaluates educational materials on school health
Evaluates and consolidates regional reports
Coordinates with government on health education;
Promotes health Through training workshops, conferences and school or community presentations;
Collaborates with health specialists and civic groups to determine school health needs and availability of services, and to develop goals in the
promotion of well-being of school children;

Develops teaching guides and other instructional materials on health and enviromental education
Participates in the planning and formulation of policies and guidelines on health education programs;
Participates in the monitoring and evaluation of health education programs;
Conducts studies and researches on health education;
Assists in the conduct of training programs on health education;
Acts as resource person and/or consultant on health education;
Evaluates educational materials on school health
Evaluates and consolidates regional reports
