As you write your ICDP goals you will need to connect your goal(s) to our
Columbus and District goals that have been established for this school year.
Consider the following questions as you write your goal:

Goal
1:

By the end of the year, all students will read 48 out of 50 words (96%)
on the Really Great Reading Beginning Decoding Survey.

Strategies and Steps to Achieve Goal 1:


Daily lessons from the Really Great Reading curriculum
The use of researched based strategies for sight words and other phonics
skills practice
Sending home leveled books, fluency passages, and sight word practice in
guided reading envelopes every day

Only one student hasnt met the end of the year
goal. I should have put the goal to be 100% on
the beginning decoding survey. I am going to
give students that passed the Advanced
Decoding Survey to see growth from mid year
to end of year.
