Public Health Faculty is one of the best faculty in Hasanuddin University
(UNHAS), accredited A by The National Accreditation Institution for Higher
Education in Indonesia. It is very interested in addressing Centre of Collaboration
Research . The faculty has long experience in doing research regarding public
health issues, and has cooperating with various institutions in national and
international scale, including professional organizations of public health namely
PERSAKMI (The unity of the Indonesian Public Health Undergraduate). Research
Focus Area is public health and infectious disease, this focus area includes
disease prevention; advancements in medical biotechnology and diagnostic
technology; and other research topics that will support Indonesias capacity to
treat and prevent disease and improve Citizens quality-of-life.
The involvement of PH Faculty to be a Centre of Collaborative Research (CCR) will
have impact on increasing the capacity building for lecturer and researcher in
UNHAS, It has been demonstrated multiple times that further collaboration is
needed in UNHAS to fully grasp the phenomenon we are seeing. This proposed
project will contribute a great deal to support the vision of UNHAS to be a world
class university
We are very pleased to support the involvement of Public Health Faculty in the
USAID SHERA program. We will provide technical assistance to conduct this
