Managerial economics is the science of making decisions on
how to employ scarce resources to achieve a managerial goal
in the most ecient way.
Managerial economics employs
Microeconomics: the study of individual behaviour of
consumers, rms and markets
Industrial Organiza4on: a branch of Microeconomics
focused on analyzing the behaviour and structure of rms
and industries

to create a systema:c, logical way of analyzing business

plaborm on the 28th/29th january.
