: Yes. Civil servants have restrictions in freedom of speech. And
thats in Civil services Rules Act.

in public. He can go to tribunals for injustice but can't make issues
public. Even if A Minister goes against government agenda he is
supposed to resign, what to speak of a civil servant. This is
constitutional.

: @Kumar: many of us have left big jobs with sole dream of seeing
ourselves as an Civil officer. Economics principle is higher returns
for higher risks. Those who chose to play safe always end up being
mediocre. If you are truly passionate about being a Civil Officer,
give your best shot. Else you will earn money in bank job but will
always regret if only I could have worked hard to fulfill my dream.
Don't worry, even if you don't crack this time, you will get some jib

somewhere for sure, but imagine if you crack this exam! Life would be
dream! Ultimately follow your conscience, take your own decision, and
stick to it no matter you pass of fail, it would be your decision.
