Luther N. Webster This Indenture made the Nineteenth day of April in the year of our
To Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty four. Between Luther N. Webster
Sheldon M Perry & Sally Webster wife of said Luther N Webster of the first part and
Sheldon M Perry of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of one Dollar to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the
receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath granted bargained sold remised released
aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm
unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns
forever all that certain piece or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Township of Oakland and
County of Oakland and Territory of Michigan being a part of the South West quarter of Section Twenty
five Township three North of Range Ten East Beginning at a stake at the North East corner of
Lands now occupied by Leonard Weed on the South line of said Section and the center of the
Highway running from thence North two chains fifty links to a Stake thence East two chains to a
stake thence South two chains fifty links to a stake thence West two chains to the place of
beginning making one half acre of land Together with all and singular the hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions
remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the Estate right title interest claim or
demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity in and to the above bargained
premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances To have and to hold said parcel of land to the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of
the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns Forever And the said party of the first part for them
and their heirs Doth covenant and agree that they the true and lawful owners of the above mentioned
premises with the appurtenances [and?] that they have good right full power and lawful authority to grant
bargain and sell the same And the said party of the first part for themselves and their heirs Doth covenant
grant bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part of the above
mentioned and described premises to forever Warrant and Defend In Witness Whereof the said party of
the first part hath hereunto set their hand and seals the day and year first above written

Reference being had to entering the first line with the words Nineteenth day of April and erasing the
words thirteenth day of Oct likewise to entering the second line from top with its words & Sally Webster
wife of said Luther N. Webster likewise on the same line to erasing the Name of Judah C Marsh and
inserting the Name of Sheldon M Perry likewise to erasing the word [?] and inserting the word chains on
the twelfth line from [?] before acknowledged. Likewise reference being had to erasing word three &
interlining the word four s[even?] line from top

County of Oakland } ss Be it remembered that on the nineteenth day of April one thousand Eight
hundred and twenty four Luther N. Webster & Sally Webster wife of said Luther N Webster came before
me Johnson Niles one of the Justices of the Peace of Oakland County Michigan Territory the within
named Luther N. Webster & Sally his wife k[nown] to me to be the persons described in and who have
executed the within deed & acknowledged that they severally signed sealed and delivered said deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Sally being by me privately examined apart from
her husband acknowledged that she executed the said deed freely without any fear or compulsion of her
said Husband all which I do accordingly certify according to the Statute in such cases made and provided
