MY EDUCATIONAL INTEREST
My primary area of interest in school is physics. This is what I hope to pursue in college and as a career path later on in life. I first
became interested in physics in 10th grade when I saw one of the most interesting and amazing videos I have ever seen. The video was
an explanation about a theory for the ten dimensions. For the first time in my life, I found a subject in school that truly interested me
but most of the information in the video was beyond my full understanding. From that moment on, I knew that I wanted to study
physics so that I could understand this awe-inspiring topic. Throughout the past year and a half, I have narrowed my area of interest in
physics to astrophysics. Ever since I was in elementary school, I enjoyed learning about space. In high school, I learned about
astrophysics and the ability to be able to describe events and celestial bodies through mathematics and science sounded like the most
amazing ability possible. I took it upon myself to learn as much information as possible about the topic through many books, dozens
of articles online, and even enrolling in college level astrophysics courses online. I truly hope to pursue my education in physics and
later astrophysics through internships, summer programs, working in labs, attending a university, and going on to attain a career in
astrophysics.
