Sadanja vremena u engleskom jeziku su Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect i Present Perfect
Continuous. Svako od ovih vremena ima posebnu upotrebu, sve u zavisnosti od konteksta.

U engleskom jeziku se budunost iskazuje na nekoliko naina, odnosno korienjem odreenih vremena. Koje e se
vreme koristiti, zavisi od konteksta.
Budue trajno vreme koristimo kada slualac zna ili razume u koje vreme se radnja odvija (She will be playing tennis at
11 am tomorrow). Budue svreno vreme koristimo za radnju koja e se desiti i zavriti do odreenog vremena u
budunosti (They will have left Belgrade by 11 0clock).
The workplace of the future is definitely going to change it is going to be more mobile, more flexible, with

Odredbena odnosna reenica blie odreuje imenicu ili zamenicu na koju se odnosi i ne moe da se izostavi, jer bez nje
reenica nema smisao. Kada govorimo o ljudima, koristimo who ili that; which ili that se koriste kada govorimo o
stvarima ili ivotinjama. Kada je odnosna zamenica objekat reenice, ona se moe izostaviti. Umetnuta odnosna
reenica daje dodatno obavetenje o glavnoj reenici i moe da se izostavi poto glavna reenica i bez nje ima smisla.
U engleskom jeziku postoje particip sadanji, particip proli i particip perfekta. Oni se koriste da skrate reenicu kada
oznaavaju radnju istovremenu sa deavanjem radnje glavnog glagola, mada ponekad radnja participa moe i da
prethodi glavnoj radnji. Glagoli percepcije ili ulne senzacije mogu biti praeni ing participom ili infinitivom (I saw her
enter the house. *kako je ula / I saw her entering the house.*kako je ulazila).
Da bi se izrazila namera u engleskom jeziku, koriste se oblici so that, in order to, so as to. Postoje takoe i odrini oblici
ovih veznika in order not to, so as not to.

Vano je zapamtiti da modalne glagole prati infinitiv bez to (izuzevought to), da nemaju-soblik u treem licu jednine
prezenta, da stoje ispred subjekta u pitanjima. Poto nemaju sve oblike, ove glagole nekad zamenjuju drugi glagoli
slinog znaenja (be able to, have to). Modali mogu imati vie znaenja.

Kad je u pitanju pasiv, najvanije je da prvo utvrdimo u kom vremenu je reenica, a zatim da primenimo pravilo za
njegovo graenje. Pasiv se mnogo ee koristi u engleskom nego u srpskom jeziku i to kada vrilac radnje nije poznat,
kada vrilac radnje nije bitan, kada se naglaava radnja, a ne vrilac radnje i kada je vrilac radnje oigledan.

Kondicionali se dele na nulti, prvi, drugi i trei kondicional. Kod nultog kondicionala je uslov uvek taan, kod prvog
postoji velika mogunost za ostvarenje radnje koja se uslovljava, drugi kondicional nosi sa sobom manju verovatnou
da e se radnja ostvariti, iako to nije potpuno nemogue, dok trei kondicional oznaava zamiljenu ili potpuno
nerealnu situaciju. On nam daje do znanja da vie ne postoji mogunost za ostvarenje radnje.

Idiomi igraju jako veliku ulogu u engleskom jeziku. Upotreba idioma je od kljune vanosti kako u govoru, tako i u
pisanju i itanju. Poznavanje gramatike i vokabulara se stie vremenom, ali bez idioma govor e biti udan i uobiajen.
