This strategy post aims to will show you how to scalp the Forex market for profits on the 1 minute time frame. If youre interested
in learning how to trade and become a consistently profitable trader using faster time frames than the 1 min Forex Scalping
Strategy with ADX and Bollinger Bands is for you. Scalping focuses on very small moves and on the 1-minute time frame these
moves can happen very quickly. In this regard, its best to reduce the amount of risk per trade until youre certain you can
consistently profit scalping the market.
You have to remember that faster profits can also mean faster losses, but the 1-minute scalping strategy with the ADX and
Bollinger Bands you will always have a positive risk to reward ratio meaning that your winners will always be larger than your
losses. This strategy is a perfect combination of the ADX indicator which measures the strength of the trend and the Bollinger Bands

Bollinger Bands MT4 Indicator Settings

The preferred settings for the Bollinger Bands MT4 indicator are the default settings. This means that the middle moving average is
set at 20 periods while the upper and lower bands or moving averages are set apart at 2 standard deviations from the middle band.

The Bollinger Bands is a great tool to spot dynamic support and resistance levels. This can be of great help especially when trading
faster time frames. Using the Bollinger Bands on the 1-minute chart will give us more confidence in trading support and resistance

ADX MT4 Indicator Settings

The preferred settings for the ADX MT4 indicator is 20 periods. We have to keep in mind that the ADX is a non-directional indicator
that is plotted as a line that oscillates between zero and 100. Usually, a value reading above 25 is considered to be a strong trend
while a reading value between 25 and 75 is considered to be a very strong trend. A value reading above 75 is indicative of an

Buy Signal: Before buying at the market wait for ADX to fall below 15 and then wait for the price to penetrate above the
upper band. Place your protective stop loss below the lower band and take profit once the ADX crosses above the 50 level.
Trail your SL below the lower BB.
Sell Signal: Before selling at the market wait for ADX to fall below 15 and then wait for the price to penetrate below the lower
band. Place your protective stop loss above the upper Band and take profit once the ADX crosses above the 50 level. Trail your
SL above the upper BB.

In the chart below, we have the EUR/USD 1-minute chart and buy trading opportunity is highlighted. We can observe that this
strategy will signal a buy trade right at the moment when the market is about to enter in expansion mode. An ADX value reading
below 15 means accumulation and after accumulation, the market always enters in expansion mode, which is signaled by the price
penetrating above the upper Bollinger Band.
