daily routine

Something that is extremely important in any profession you decide

to embark on, and that is your daily routine, as a day trader you
cant expect to just wing it and do random things everyday. I have a
daily routine I follow and believe it is a major key to my success.
Daily Routine (remember this is CET):
05:30 wake up
05.35 fitness
06.15 shower
06.30 breakfast with wife
07:00 wake up son & prepare his breakfast
07:30 kick family out of the house
07.30 into the War Room
07.35 preparation:
1. Breathing excersize: I close my eyes and take three deep
breaths. I inhale cold air for 3 seconds, hold for 12 and exhale
negativity for 5 seconds. When I open my eyes, I am calm
and ready to tackle the trading day from a neutral, unbiased and
optimistic mind set.
2. Listen to "I am a champion" on Youtube

Now I am ready for the trading day !!

check calendar for bankholidays, important news

check charts, what happened during TOO
look left on the 1H (yesterday only)
check general news around the world (see if some world disaster
happened while I was sleeping)
8. fresh coffee for FFO
9. Read my general trading rules
10. set the goal of the day
11. get tradelog ready

08:00 Ready to go, but not always trade FFO and wait until LOO
during the trading day take enough small breaks...
do every hour: 10 sit ups / 10 push ups / 10 squats or go for a
short walk
takes 2-5 minutes and gets your eyes off the charts, your mind
distracted, your body moving, your blood pumping and revitalizing
your body with fresh oxygen..
use the slow times before NYO, to look at the morning charts..
check your morning trades, what you did perfect, what you can
improve.. give yourself a score !!
take a lunch break don't eat in front of the screens.. distract the
mind a bit..
at the end of the day, check if you have all the trades logged in the
tradelog
Act as the CEO of Me Inc. and give yourself a final score for the
day.. and be brutally honest !!!
think if you have learned something today, if so write it down, so
you will remember tomorrow..
You are in competition only with yourself... be tomorrow
simply 1% better than today!!
