Shell Vitrea Oils are premium quality, solvent refined, high viscosity index mineral
oils for a wide range of industrial applications.

Applications

Seal & Paint Compatibility

Vitrea Oils are compatible with all seal materials
and paints normally specified for use with mineral
oils.

Plain and rolling element bearings

Enclosed spur, helical, bevel & worm
gearboxes where a non-additive mineral oil is
approved by the gear manufacturer

Advice

Machine tool circulatory systems

Advice on applications not covered in this leaflet

may be obtained from your Shell representative.

Vitrea Oils may be used in industrial

applications where loadings and temperatures
are moderate.

Guidance on Health and Safety are available on
the appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet which
can be obtained from your Shell representative.
Protect the environment
Take used oil to an authorised collection point. Do
not discharge into drains, soil or water.
