SENIOR EXHIBITION PROJECT

ACTION PLAN
Create a to-do list of goals/objectives with your mentor that will help you complete your
project. Your mentor must sign-off on any and all goals created together. This is an
opportunity for you to road map your project with your mentors expertise. Please
include cost and time frame for completion.

GOAL
Example: Research and interview physical therapists
from different offices in Westerly
Meet with my mentor at the YMCA to discuss my
senior project and how she will help me with my
project.
Begin researching at school and at home the connection
between foster children and mentoring programs.
Produce a flyer for my senior project that is approved by
my mentor.
Ask local business if they will hang my flyer up to
spread the word around the community about my senior
project.
Write a letter that can be published in the YMCA
newsletter as well as newsletters that are distributed
PTO members.
Begin attending classes at the Y about how to become a
mentor. Mentoring training.
Conduct more research to develop a powerpoint
presentation that will inform the general public about
how to become a mentor and why mentors are
important.
Update flyers that are at local business with the
necessary information.
Ask local business if they are willing to donate baskets
that will be used in a basket raffle which all the money
raised will go towards mentoring programs at the Y.
Host an informational dinner at the Y to teach the
community about the importance of mentoring
programs and how to become a mentor.
