Appliances, is one of the most widely accepted flammability performance

According to ASTM D 3801, samples with the dimensions

100X13X3 mm and placed vertically on a stand 10mm above
the blue flame and 300mm above cotton. According to test
samples of different composition rating was given. The rating in UL-94 test was V-0,
V-1, and V-2. V-0 with the best flame retardancy and V-2 with the least flame
retardant. Almost three samples for each composition were tested.
