ClixxoVELA is a powerful and flexible solution built around a Blade Server based CPU with a
distributed architecture, supporting a wide array of features suited to meet the
requirements of medium scale enterprises.
The system provides analog, digital and SIP subscriber connectivity with highly flexible and
programmable features.

ARCHITECTURE
Clixxo VELA is small in size and big on features. It provides the small to medium enterprises the benefits and
protocols normally available only in a high-end high capacity switching platforms.
With IP as the basic backbone, the systems are capable of driving all legacy, contemporary and futuristic
protocols.
The Series is capable of seamlessly delivering up to 512 ports.

MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS
Flexible as it is, Clixxo VELA provides a number of programmable line parameters such as battery feeding,
impedance matching, hybrid balancing, frequency response, ringer frequency & amplitude, off-hook thresholds
and 12/16 KHz.
Further, its management system supports industry standards such as SNMP, TCP/IP, Telnet and PPP. Remote
management of the system is made possible using IP links and also using inbuilt dial up modems in the system.
The system has provisions to drive it through both AC and DC power supply.
It has all basic and advanced features which drive the analog, digital and SIP ports. It has connectivity to the
world through a host of protocols including legacy DELs, Magneto Trunks to contemporary ISDN BRI and PRI.
The system can also be connected through SIP trunks.
It has wide ranging data connectivities including Ethernet andV.35.

KEY FEATURES
HOT DUPLICATION: Offers full redundancy of controls in True Hot Standby Mode with Hot Swappable
controls. In the event of failure of the Active Set, the changeover to the Standby Set is automatic and
transparent, without any disruption of services.
QSIG NETWORKING: Comprehensive QSIG compliance with full feature transparency, based on ECMA,
ETSI & ISO Standards, with support over both ISDN (BRI & PRI) and IP.
AUDIO CONFERENCING: Up to 64 Party Conference supported, supervised as well as unsupervised
(Meet Me, Progressive,Add On) involving any kind of circuit (External as well as Internal). Conference Bridges
such as 2x32 Party, 4x 16 Party, 8x8 Party, can be configured.
AUTOMATIC CALL DISTRIBUTION & MISREPORTING: Extensive inherent ACD capabilities with
comprehensive and customizable Management Information System with Online and Historical report
generation. Intelligent routing and landing of calls within various ACD groups can be configured, for Call
Centre applications.

SOLUTIONS
Clixxo VELA, apart from acting as a high end switching platform delivering all PBX functionality including CTI,
Hospitality and other solutions, is flexible enough to provide products such as MUX and GSM Gateway.

PD Mux
It converts itself into a Digital Mux with ease, thereby combining several digital signals into an aggregate bit
stream.The system is modular and designed to fit into a standard 19 server rack.
The Mux is designed to provide a cost-effective solution for the interconnection of a wide range of voice and
data interfaces into communication networks which may include microwave radios, higher order Mux and
Optical Transmission Equipment. The unit provides full-featured, Drop-and-Insert capability for each voice
frequency circuit or any signal that can be transmitted in a 64kbps channel.

With a plug-in 8 port GSM card and Least Cost Routing feature, Clixxo VELA can be adapted as a perfect GSM
PBX where all calls made to the GSM network are automatically sent over the GSM network, thereby reducing
the cost of communication.

GSM Gateway
Clixxo VELA when adapted as a GSM Gateway is an equipment offering integrated interfaces for
GSM/CDMA/VOIP/ ISDN BRI/PRI,T1/E1 and POTS networks. It can be programmed to behave as a digital GSM
gateway and can take in 32 SIMS and give out an ISDN PRI. It can also be used to quickly deploy communication
set-up wherever land-line trunk lines are not available.
