What’s the long-term effect of this


electronic socializing? Does it give the
illusion of connecting with other human
beings while leaving us more isolated than
ever before? And what about the “jittery,
crazy” reaction to being cut off from our
gadgets?

We’re tech guys here. We love gadgets.


But we think the risk of missing something
close by is much greater (and of more
lasting importance) than the chance of
missing the latest “news” from Ashton or
Britney.

Our advice? Turn ‘em off more often, and


go breathe some fresh air...with real, flesh-
and-blood friends.
